    I got this webcam on a limited time deal of $10 and change. I was suspicious that a webcam usually priced at 10x more woukd be so cheap, but the reviews were generally good. Not sure how. The color representation is horrible. Red items look pink, blue looks gray. This item goes back.

    The plastic that protects the lens is on there too good. You'll need to pick at it to get a corner started.

    DECENT WEBCAM BUT IT HAS A COUPLE OF FAULTS

    I purchased this webcam because it did seem to have decent reviews and I liked what the manufacturer had to say about it. However you should be aware of the fact that it probably is not coming through as true 1080p. It also has a habit of getting colors wrong.. For example I tested it wearing a very bright red shirt and it made the shirt look dark red no matter what the lighting conditions were. The sound quality is okay at best. I actually had to do a little finagling because the built-in microphones came out with a lot of static noise. All things considered it's not a horrible camcorder but there are a lot better options out there and the manufacturer needs to address these issues. I won't return it because for the dollar amount it was a decent buy. But I would love to hear from the manufacturer as to what they will do to correct these problems. Perhaps I just received a bit of a defective model. I will wait to see if I have any reply from the seller or manufacturer.

    I needed a cheap webcam only due to the fact that I have to zoom every once in a while. So I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I used once a month. I found this product. I had specific needs and this fit the bill. I needed a USB connected cam with a microphone. But it did NOT want one that had to be plugged into the mic jack as well. My jack is taken up by my speakers. This one checked all the boxes. I got it and plugged it in. It worked right away. The only issue and why I can't give it a better rating is that that color is terrible. I have very good lighting where I sit and my built in mac camera looks great. (No I can't use my built in for other reasons) The colors on this are grey and washed out and there is nothing you can do about it. I guess I can change the bulbs in my office or buy a more yellow ring light, I don't care enough to do that. So if you want cheap and easy, go for it. If you want good video? Spend more money and get something better.

    This camera actually has a 640×480 sensor image. 1080p is upscaled and cropped garbage. Colors are also *really* terrible (in proper lighting) and low light performance is poor even for a cheap camera.

    It does have a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the bottom so that's kind of a plus. I might find a use for it all the same, but this camera should be avoided. Even at $10 it's a bad value.

    Out of the dozen or so different cheap cameras I've purchased over the years, this is probably the 4th worst (at least it's not actually 320p).
