The perfect bag for smaller cameras

I bought two of these in different colors, for two film cameras I own. Neither is weather resistant so I wanted something to carry them in that would provide basic protection, but isn’t bulky. When I go street shooting I never bring more than 1 extra lens with me (if any at all) so I don’t need a lot of space. These bags are perfect for a film SLR or medium-sized mirrorless digital camera, while leaving enough room for a prime lens, some filters and a couple of rolls of film. They weigh next to nothing, the shoulder strap is comfortable, and they have a nice vintage look about them. Plus they’re in a price range that makes it easy to buy several.

I really like the design, a bit vintage style. Only missing a pocket outside to put a small water bottle but I guess that is not the style of this bag. So I have a Nikon Z6, a small lens 35 1.8 and a bigger 70-180 2.8 lens. When I have the bigger lens on my camera I have to put the camera sideways. That way I can close the bag.
To add my smaller lens to the bag, I could put it on the bottom of the camera bag if I put my camera on the side.
Only with the camera and one lens is better. Because the bottom lens is not really protected as I have to take out the extra protection to make space. In that case I only need this bag to also use it for some personal stuff.

I have a Nikon P950. Way bigger than traditional point and shoot cameras and it doesn’t break down like dslr cameras making it a bit harder to find the right bag. This worked perfectly to carry the camera and all the extra essentials without being another piece of luggage. Will fit inside my carry on when I travel.

The only thing that I don’t like about the bag is that it doesn’t hold its form well, aka you lose grabbing leverage/it feels awkward to dig into because the bag is bendy or you lose some space because of how compact the bag is combined with the fact it’s bendy.
It is stylish and a nifty little bag though so I’m more than willing to put up with that!

I have been looking forever for a bag for my camera that is large enough to hold the small zoom and the standard lens but isn’t bulky and boxy and ugly like so many camera bags are. The second picture shows my hand in front the bag to show how slim the profile is. Also, I like going to urban areas and don’t want my bag to look like it’s worth snatching. I just want it to look like a regular “purse” as much as possible. I have tried leather bags etc. but they are usually too small or also too boxy or just way to expensive. This one is perfect. It looks like a regular bag and has plenty of room for my equipment. The padding it not as thick but I think it’s just fine. Much better than the canvas purse I was using which had no padding at all. There are also several small pockets in the front and the back which should be good enough for my cell phone and a wallet so I don’t have to carry an extra purse. The strap is long enough so I can carry it crossbody-style for safety and it still hangs low like a purse would. It seems very sturdy and I can’t wait to take it on an excursion.

I received my bag and it is a good one. Not too big and can hold a lot of supplies. The section dividers have Velcro so you can adjust the size of the pocket which I like a lot. I like the adjustable strap for the shoulder and the separate pockets for the little things I need. It’s made well overall. HOWEVER….. The buckle in front fell off on the first day I had it unbeknownst to me as I was taking photos and is lost. I am keeping the bag because I like it. I can’t believe they did not secure the clasp to the bag. Definitely a design failure on the manufacturer!! I would have given it another star if it didn’t fall off.

Decent bag–not a fan of the flap over style

Overall this is a pretty good bag with good quality padding and nice features. I returned it, however, because I don’t like the “flap over” style without the ability to zipper the case closed at the top. I have a small mirrorless camera and I wouldn’t feel comfortable with just a magnetic flap securing the case. I could see the camera slipping out of the gap at the opening at the top. However, this style does provide quick access to your gear so it could be useful to some who want to be able to grab their camera without needing to unzip the bag.

This is the perfect bag to carry a DSLR with two lens. It’s compact, durable and will allow you to your accessories and also a phone, sunglasses and some money. Easy to get into and comes with a good level of padding including moveable dividers. Well thought out pockets. The only drawback is that the closure is not as secure as I would like it to be for hiking. I added a zipper to the inner flap and now it is perfect. Survived two wild weeks in Costa Rica. Highly recommend.
