It's like being at the movies
This little projector has everything you need: good picture, great sound, the ability to cast from your phone, and HDMI inputs to connect other devices such as a gaming console. If you want to level-up your couch potato game and watch movies while fully reclined or lying on your back staring at the ceiling, well, this is it. Why bother sitting up straight watching a normal TV when you can lay completely down and watch a movie on a 160inch picture on your ceiling? It's great and you maximize your ultimate inner lazy. This projector is housed in it's own stand, so there is no need for a tripod and you can even rotate it completely vertical. This makes it easy to setup and not have to bother setting perfect angles all of the time and messing with tripod settings. The projector uses the Google Home system and I'll be frank, I've never used Google Home before. I needed to download the Google Home app and the setup on the projector walked me through setting up everything. Google Home is quite extensive and I don't really use much of the features outside of streaming channels but there is a lot to it. You can setup a screen saver, use your own pictures as a screen saver, use AI generated images to display, set up different device locations – it was a bit much for me, but once I was taken to a screen where I could add channels, everything else was a breeze and you can disregard everything else. I was able to add Hulu, Disneyplus, Crunchyroll, MAX, Netflix, Youtube, etc, pretty much everything. Setup took about 10-15 minutes as the projector goes through this "setting up" phase and once that was completed, we were in business. Turning the projector on from a shut off state will take you to screen where different shows from all of your channels are displayed, things you have previously watched, recommendations, and channel lists. Lovely. The setup menu is quite extensive and I spent quite a bit of time optimizing everything to my liking. That said, here are some tips for those that which to project onto the ceiling. I have the projector far enough to display a 160inch screen. but first things first, you need to fix the focus and keystone settings. There are automatic settings for this, but I got much better results just manually doing it myself. For sound, I have it set to Movie Mode which I found to be the most enjoyable. The speakers are quite good (phenomenal really) in a bedroom but in a large living room you may want to hook up a separate speaker system suitable for Home Theater. There are 3 different backlight settings: ECO, Standard, and Vivid. I suggest using ECO or Standard as the fan does get louder the higher you go. I use ECO myself as in a dark or dim room, the difference between Standard and ECO isn't much but the fan is much more quiet. As for picture settings, there are some things to consider. HDR streams and non-HDR streams are independent of each other, so you can use different settings between the two. However, HDR washes out the color of the picture and encourages you to turn up the brightness and color settings out of what is normal. I did not want to do this, so I turned off HDR on HDR streams. As for my settings: Auto Brightness: Off, I want stability and I don't like the fan getting loud Brightness: 49 Contrast: 53 Saturation: 66 (needed because I am projecting onto a ceiling, which is not pure white and not a "projector screen" HUE: 0 Sharpness: 12 Advanced Settings Color Temperature: Warm most of the time, if you're watching in the middle of the afternoon then Standard DNR: Off MPEG NR: Off Max Vivid: Off Adaptive Luma Control: Low or Off (I prefer low as it helps with black crush, or low lit scenes. Also it improves the picture most of the time but keep in mind this can sometimes cause skin tones to appear more yellow or red.) Local Contrast Control: Off Flesh Tone: Off DI Film Mode: Off (This disables a lot of the post-processing "enhancements" Blue Stretch: On (This compensates for for the lifted Saturation value) Low Blue Light: Off As you can see from the photos, picture is fantastic. If you want to watch stuff on the ceiling like me, this is it.

Omg. I am so incredibly happy with this projector. I hated the one I had before because it constantly would shut off at random times. My old one I had to use a fire stick to watch anything. This projector is awesome. Clear picture. Super bright. I use it in my bedroom instead of having a tv that would take up too much space that I don’t have. My entire wall is covered with the picture. I wouldn’t recommend using it in a space with a lot of light. The sound is amazing. I had to use an external speaker on my old one. Not on this. One product. One remote. Sooooo easy. My husband is a retired video engineer so he is always wanting to adjust everything. This has an auto adjust that I prefer over his changes. No offense honey. Well worth the price. I love that I can watch on my bedroom wall. Makes me feel like I have my own private theater in my bedroom. The screen size is great. All of the apps I use are already loaded onto it. If you are hesitant on buying this, just do it, you won’t regret it. Sleek, easy functionality, clear picture, amazing sound, one remote. What is not to love?

I’ve been using my BOOM Mini for a few weeks now, winding down every evening and it’s completely changed the way I watch movies. The 1080P resolution delivers sharp, vibrant visuals even on my ceiling, and I love how the autofocus and keystone correction just handle everything—no fiddling needed. What really makes it stand out, though, is the built-in Google TV. It’s like having a smart TV packed into a projector. I can jump straight into Netflix, YouTube, or any of my favorite apps without connecting extra devices. The Dolby speakers are another highlight—they’re surprisingly powerful and make the experience feel truly cinematic. I also love the fact that I can adjust the projector to watch movies on my bed too. For such a compact device, it delivers way more than I expected.

I've tried a few projectors but this one offers solid picture quality for the price, especially in dark rooms. Setup is easy and the included accessories are a nice bonus. Bluetooth audio support is handy. Built-in speakers are decent, but as with most home projectors external ones are better. Great for casual movie nights but I'd stray away from using it in bright settings.

Had issues with this boom mini at the start, but amazing customer service contacted me and we together resolved all the issues. So here is a review of the item without negativity I got because of a slightly defective item with bad zooming.

I’ve been using the Aurzen BOOM mini for a couple of weeks, and I’m honestly impressed by how much performance is packed into such a small device. Initially I was looking for a projector i would be able to use outdoors at RV and road trips, so I was choosing between Boom 3 and Boom Mini. Mini have a better design and compact body + stand was a nice catch to use in tiny spots as motorhomes, so i purchased it right after Boom 3.
First off, as I said, the design and portability are fantastic. It’s light, compact, and has a flexible stand that makes it easy to set up anywhere — on a table, angled at the wall, or even pointing at the ceiling. This is exactly what I wanted in a projector; I could move around the house or take on RV trips.

The picture quality is way better than I expected for its size. It’s Full HD with support for 4K input, and the colors are vivid and sharp. At 500 ANSI lumens, it works perfectly in dim or dark rooms, though it’s not as bright as a larger model like the Boom 3. That said, in exchange, you get a much more portable and quieter projector, so for me the trade-off is worth it.

The smart features are a big win. Since it runs Google TV, I didn’t need to plug in a streaming stick — Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and everything else are right there. Autofocus and keystone correction take just a few seconds, so I never waste time fiddling with the picture. It worked even with my defective lens that had one side a bit blurry, so nothing was wrong with the software; it was my unit, but customer service fixed it for me.

The sound quality is another highlight. The dual 10W speakers with Dolby Audio surprised me — rich, clear, and good enough that I don’t always bother hooking up external speakers. I didn't even hope for that, that's why I have an Anker portable speaker, which has a badass sound, but those speakers are very close to it, so I kept using the original projector speakers. Boom 3 btw have better speakers, but as I previously said it's bigger unit. Plus, the cooling fan is quiet, so you actually hear the movie instead of background noise.

Overall, I’d say the BOOM mini hits the sweet spot between performance, portability, and ease of use. Sure, it isn’t quite as bright or loud as the BOOM 3, but it makes up for that with compact size, silence, and convenience. If you're looking a badass projector that you can take everywhere and do a full cinema experience, it's Boom Mini.

Wow this is absolutely a game changer! I had a different projector but fancied a change as my current one didn't have a stand and was really awkward when adjusting, this one however has a stand Inbuilt with 110 degree adjustment, is a great size! So can use it to travel with and great quality and picture! I'm so happy with this one, I also love the built in dolby audio speakers and real time auto focus!

It has Netflix, YouTube and prime video built in and you can also connect your Google tv so you can get more apps and channels.

It has 2x USB slots and 1 HDMI Port so you can plug in a firestick/roku stick/apple tv etc

When I ordered this it had a promotion on for the free 120 inch projection screen also, I haven't yet used this but I can't wait to use it on my holiday with the kids at the end of the month for an outdoor movie night!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 12, 2025

    Super produit
