Prevents bird strikes
Used this to help avoid bird strikes on an odd sized window. I followed instructions to apply. I measured a little bigger than I wanted, used painters tape to hold in place, marked where I needed additional trimming (window is not the right triangle it appears to be). I used a utility knife and cut the film on a flat surface using a metal guide. When wetting window, place towel along bottom to catch excess water/soap mixture. Shower squeegee worked perfectly to remove bubbles. I left a clear border intentionally.

    As to the product itself, it is nice and thick, seems to be excellent quality, and was easy to work with in terms of trimming, removing the backing, and installing on the glass.
    It also includes instructions that are easy to understand for anyone who has never worked with this sort of material before.
    As you can see in my before and after photos, this product made a big difference in how my front door looks. We love it and I highly recommend it, especially for the great price.

    Looks great, but you'll need more rolls than you think

    I love the way this looks. It's much more opaque than other window films I've used, but it still lets the sunlight through in a way that really makes the colors pop. The design is gorgeous. It is just a vinyl sticker, so there's no texture to it, but as long as nobody's going around inspecting your windows it looks like real stained glass. It's also GREAT for privacy. You really can't see in from the outside, even at nighttime with the lights on.
    I did have some issues though. First off, you don't get a lot of surface area for the price. I had to buy four of these at $17.99 each (almost 75 bucks!) and they still only covered the bottom halves of my windows. I thought 4 rolls would have left me with extra, but I'd probably need to buy 4 more just to finish the top half. I guess that's an okay deal when you compare it to professional window treatments or real stained glass, but when you're a 20-something trying to make your old budget studio look cute, that's a lot of money to spend. Especially for an incomplete job. If you're trying to brighten up a small entry window or add a border, this would be perfect but using this to completely cover large windows will get costly.
    Second, the back paper leaves behind little chunks of this white chalky residue that you have to scrape off with your finger. I tried my best to get most of it off, but there's still some spots you can see through the film. It doesn't look that bad in my case because my windows are old as hell and have paint splatter and debris from years of the "landlord special", but it would be really noticeable on pristine windows.
    Finally, it's honestly a pain to set up. I would recommend having someone help you hold the sheet in place while you cut the exact size piece out with an exacto-knife, but I did this alone with kitchen scissors and I fought with it the whole time. There are some spots where you can see I gave up on measuring exactly and just eyeballed it.
    Overall I'm happy with the results. I just wish you got more for the price and it was a little easier to install.

    IMPORTANT: Take care to cut the film to the correct size and ensure you cut it on a SOLID surface, otherwise cutting could be difficult.
    Ensure you squeegee out, all the water and any bubbles, after positioning the film, using the supplied tool.
    I fitted some Dimmable LED strips to my cabinet, to back-illuminate the film, if you look at the pictures, you can see how effective that is.
    Just don't rush the installation and you'll be very happy with the results.
