Decent but not the best.
I will update my review in a month to let you know how it’s still working.My partner has a 2015 Chevy Equinox. We didn’t mess with the backup camera because you need to mess with wires and we didn’t like that. So not sure on how the camera looks yet.It’s very lightweight so easy to move around. Excessive cord, so that can be good or annoying. It turns off when the car turns off, which is great. The sound quality is what you’d expect coming from little speakers. It works fine, but any sound coming from the CarPlay itself, doesn’t play through Bluetooth.It was easy to set up and connect through Bluetooth. It didn’t give you a code like it shows on your phone, but I just agreed it was the same code and it connected.CONS that I have noticed already:When you send a text via voice, it sometimes sends even the contact name (shown in video and picture).Also when you use the voice to text, it pauses your audio, and then doesn’t resume it. We have to manually change the car audio to the radio and switch it back to Bluetooth to hear the audio.Will update in a month. But so far, it’s decent. Hoping it works better when we mess around with it more.

    Bought this touchscreen car multimedia player for 16 year old son. Very quick and easy to install. Installed in 2015 Ford Focus with no issues. Son was asking for something to play his Apple Music in car. Works great not only at that but as helping him get to place to place with directions. As a parent love the big screen that he can easily see as it is mounted to his dash rather than him trying to look at his small screen on his phone while driving. He has been using for 4 months and have had no issues. Also easy to take calls while driving. Fits in his car great, looks like it has always been there. Connection is great and has had no issues with it not working or glitching. Would highly recommend and very affordable!

    Not only is it easy to set up, but it actually works! I installed this on a 2000 Toyota Camry with no aux port. I have a bluetooth cassette adapter that's paired to my phone so I can use the car's speakers. Running the wires for the backup camera was easy, as the wire itself is super long for my little car, so the only thing I needed to worry about is tucking them away. I used t tap connectors to tap into my reverse light (the positive wire is the red one for my car); once connected, the screen automatically gives me a view of the back up camera when i put it in reverse. I just have to adjust the height of the camera to make sure I've got a good angle and good view. The clarity/resolution of the back up camera is pretty good for the price as well.

    The unit itself is cute and doesn't obstruct my view very much. It works as well, maybe even better as the expensive screens on our 2021 car. The built in speakers themselves are not impressive at all, but that doesn't bother me since I am using the car speakers.

    Once I set up the unit, it automatically connects to my phone without me having to fiddle with it. The unit turns off and on with the car, just like the built in screens that come factory installed on new cars. Once I turn on my car, the unit starts up. When i turn off my car, it turns off as well.

    So far, I'm in love, though only time will tell how this unit will hold up. But as of right now, i do not regret my purchase and I'm actually looking forward to driving to work tomorrow morning….wait, did i just say that?

    My car doesn’t have any audio input so I gambled on wether or not the fm would work well as is I heard it isn’t always great but this one works well. The Bluetooth connects automatically fairly quickly and instantly launches CarPlay. I haven’t installed the camera yet but it seems pretty straightforward. Lastly it looks good mounted above my existing radio and will fit the look of most cars.

    I really like this device. It’s big enough to see and use but not too big where it obstructs your vision. It’s easy to set up and connects to my phone quickly when I turn on my car. Very good touch response. Screen mirroring works great once you get the hang of setting it up. Plus, if you set it up right, then if you have the option available in your car then you can control your music without touching your phone or the CarPlay device itself. I haven’t connected the camera to it as of yet but overall this is a very good purchase and worth the money!

    Decent for a cheap Apple CarPlay device for older cars

    The display looks decent and does what it is supposed to do. No frills or super high quality but it works.

    Loses one star for not having a usb port on the charger adapter as it means you cannot charge your phone using this device. The attachment points don’t seem the best so expect to have to rig it to stay at some point.

    The fm radio function works as expected, and Bluetooth connected without any major issues. Touch screen is responsive but feels cheap so take that as you will. I don’t use the backup camera so I do not know how that works. I wish it had a dash cam camera like the larger versions cause it would be perfect for smaller cars that can’t fit the larger 9in versions on Amazon.
