Perfect Charging on the Go!!

5 out of 5 stars

Perfect Charging on the Go!!
I purchased this Power Bank to recharge multiple devices I own, and it works great! Initial purchase, the solar panel that came with the R100 power bank was faulty, and it short-circuited the box. But, I got in contact with the seller thru Amazon and they were incredible to work with! No haggle experience to replace the box & upgraded solar panel. Power Bank does what it says to fully recharge your portable devices, mine include 3 cell phones, a weather radio, a small portable solar ar power bank and a 5w LED cabin light. Very easy to use, clear display to see the battery status, and it runs my power strip on the 2 AC output plugs. Fairly compact in size sonit doesn't take up bulky room. 40W solar charged up the box from 61% to full 100% in 2 hours in full sunlight with no problems. I highly recommend if you want a practical way to recharge your devices without the hassle of plugging & unplugging devices in to your vehicle charger. And it has very useful LED bright lights. A must have when on the go! Thank you everyone at Apowking!!

So this is my favorite new toy. I packs some battery life has (2) 110v outlets, 4 USB Ports a DC IN and a DC out port plus a large light. Currently I have it setup in my shed at my apartment as it has now power out there. I can run a Wifi extender off of it while powering 4 LED lights and a voice controlled speaker making my shed a great place to smoke in the winter as the apartments are smoke free and the porch cold. The solar array in my opinion is rather impressive as even on a cloudy winter day it was still collecting a little energy meaning i can charge up inside and run for at least a week collecting what little i can from mother nature. Sturdy not heavy really I cannot think of anything bad to say about it.

Great little solar generator. The solar panel is 100w and seems to be very high quality, durable and charges this unit quite quickly depending on sunlight. This only has the wattage to charge cell phones, laptops, tablets and extremely small appliances. If you research it, you can get a small pot to cook food with this. It ran a box fan for approximately 6 hours in a power outage…I like to have a fan running for air movement and sound when I sleep. I keep it in my car for any potential emergency. Not sure if that is bad for the batteries with the heat and all. Nothing quite like have that little piece of mind while traveling. Of course…seller delivered on time.

I don't know if I use it wrong, but it wouldn't charge it wouldn't pick up the sun no matter if I put it right there by the trailer window. So I'm just going to give it 4 stars just in case I was wrong.

Im curious, can you daisy chain these? I saw an output that is DC and an input on the second one I have that has an input that is also DC. I don't want to destroy them, so hopefully someone knows. Its a great tool though. I have a different UPS for my PC, but we had a brief outage and I have one connected to my cable modem. When the power dropped nothing happened. The pc was able to chug along on the internet and the PC didn't even react.

I highly recommend this product. People may think you are a wacky prepper, but when you have power and they don't, you wont regret it.

Really mad as I spent over $100 on this and I have Halo Bolt chargers that still work great after 5 years of frequent use (my kids use the Halo Bolts in the car all the time for their devices, and we’ve jumpstarted our cars several times as well).

The battery works well enough. I was able to use it while camping and get my 3 air mattresses to inflate, deflate and charge my Bluetooth speaker 2 times. For the size and weight it works pretty well. It does take a LONG time to charge though. Even with the included AC adapter, or 12V car adapter I feel like it takes over 8 hours to charge, maybe longer.

I am giving only 3 stars for a couple reasons though.
    * The solar panel is not capable of charging this beast. I sat the panel in direct sun for over 8 hours and it didn't even gain 10% charge. I tried over multiple days as well. It was able to charge my Bluetooth speaker up about 75% in a full day, acceptable, but not really helpful for the battery it comes with.

*The buttons are not easy to read in the dark, and I accidentally hit the AC button and burned the whole battery overnight without even have a load on it. I feel like the AC inverter should have an auto shut off like the USB ports do.

*The USB ports will shut off if port 1 stops being under load. So if you are charging multiple devices and the first one finishes first, the rest will turn off after a few minutes, even if they are still trying to pull juice.

*The led light should have more dimmer options. It's on, sos or off. A low setting would be nice as a night light when camping and take a lot less battery.

    Conclusion:
For the price, it's not half bad. It did what I needed and I can use the solar panel to charge other devices even if it can't charge the included battery. The size and weight are good for the amount of power. But there are many limitations that I suppose come with the price point. This is the cheapest model I could find on Amazon at $135, so for that it gets 3 stars.

The solar panel does not charge the power box. The box is not powerful enough to run LED lights for a night. You can manually charge the box by plugging it into the wall which takes hours for it to charge up for it to just die in an hour. Definitely not work the expense. Go for a bigger and better one.
