    The built in light is a great feature, and the privacy shutter works excellently. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit troublesome to get the auto-focus to… y'know, focus. Not enough of a complaint to knock it down a star. Excellent for the money.

    I do not use the microphone and thus will not comment on it.

    I just received my streaming webcam 862Pro with compact flash memory and used it once with Zoom. I am VERY impressed with its functionality and construction. It is a big improvement over my previous streaming camera without any lighting assist. The remote control is a must although I dithered over whether I'd ever use it and indeed am delighted I included it in my purchase. One suggestion I offer is to embed the camera ID in the description material. As I researched competing manufacturers and models the camera ID became an important reference point to cross reference which camera model I was reviewing. This reference point was difficult with Angetube because the ID is missing from the descriptive material. 1080p 60 FPS is a minimum I'd purchase now that I've experienced the upgraded capabilities. Lighting range and capability is awesome and ability to tilt the camera along both the X and Y axis is very useful. All-in-all I believe this is a 5 star camera I just need to use it more and expect that there won't be any failures within a reasonable usage timeline. Finally, I am impressed with receiving a letter from the Angetube service team following up on my purchase. The personal touch is a sign to me that the company cares about their customer satisfaction.

    Bought it two years ago. It stopped working recently. Stuff happens. Contacted the manufacturer and they replaced it for free. Aside from just being nice, it means their webcams rarely break and they can afford free replacement after the end of warranty period.
    As for technical characteristics – autofocus works very smoothly, never seen myself blurry. Good depth of field. Didn't get much use of the ring light – the webcam is sensitive enough to work without it, basically the light from the working computer monitor is enough.

    My very expensive webcam that I purchased last year just quit working suddenly the other day. I purchased this one because it was within my current price range and came with an adjustable ring light and remote. These are important to me as my eyes are sensitive to light but my home office is rather dark. Therefore, light is essential but traditional ring lights often are too bright and harsh.

    This camera's light has plenty if settings first me to find one where I am not washed out and looking like a phantom and my eyes are not strained ten minutes into the first meeting of the day.

    I did have to contact support to find out how to town on the light. It seems I didn't try turning it on hard enough. It doesn't take much, but one of my hands is healing from surgery so it was awkward prior to mounting it.

    Their support team went above and beyond as I was not understanding what he was saying (I was overly tired and my dyslexia was kicking up a serious fit). However, Dong was very patient and was able to explain it to me easily even with my sleep deprived brain. Lol

    I would highly recommend this camera for its clarity of picture, functionality, and ease of use (once I figured out my problwm lol). I would also recommend the company for their fast responsiveness, extreme patience, and knowledgeability.

    I bought this for my home office because and I have been disappointed in this product. The microphone doesn't really work. Sometimes people can't hear me at all, other times it sounds like I'm far away, rarely it will work. The camera comes with a controller and the zoom button doesn't work and it doesn't work to be able to adjust the camera angle from the remote. For the price I spend on this I would expect better quality. I wish I had returned it and got my money back.

    Good camera, poor features

    I like the overall quality of this _camera_, but some of the extra features are underwhelming.

    It sits easily on top of my monitor, and it is 1080P at 60Hz. The light works, it focuses fine, even when the subject is backlit by a window.

    BUT, to me these things are show stoppers:
    1. the camera-on light is tiny and easy to miss.
    2. the ring light does not go on/off automatically. It has to be turned on manually by rotating a ring. So you can't just set it once, you have to do it each time you use the camera.
    3. the ring light control is continuous: at you rotate the ring, the brightness increases until reaching maximum, then goes off. Further rotation will increase brightness. This makes it a little fiddley to get it off.
    4. The privacy block is hard to see in low lighting, and its not necessarily obvious which state is which.
