If you think it’s not sturdy, you probably didn’t…
If you think it’s not sturdy, you probably didn’t screw in the aluminum rods (see pics). It didn’t come with instructions, so I was confused at first. Once you slide the rods together, you’ll need to use the tool it came with to screw in the tiny screws (2 screws per rod… see pic. The 2 screws go into the bottom 2 holes where the rods connect. Repeat for each piece. There is 1 extra screw). Note: It’s not a regular screwdriver so save the tool it comes with if you need to disassemble later. Once you’ve assembled the rod, it screws easily into the base (I did this part first and popped in the little plastic covering at the base before I assembled the rod and it was fine) then just press in the silicone LED piece (after the rod is assembled). Once you do that, it is sturdy enough (if you bump into it then yes, it could easily tip over). But it’s not a fragile piece. All the individual different colors don’t pick up on photos too well, but I find it to be very bright & colorful in person. It easily lights an entire average size room. You will need (2) AAA batteries (not included) for the remote. There is a button at the base of the light to switch from static color options to strobe option etc, but you will need the remote to adjust the brightness, strobe, flash etc. Or you can use the QR code on the paper in the packaging to install the app on your phone in place of the remote. (I can’t speak on the function of the app or Alexa/Google home. I do not use either. The remote is okay with me). I would buy this light again from this seller.

    If you think it’s not sturdy, you probably didn’t screw in the aluminum rods (see pics). It didn’t come with instructions, so I was confused at first.
    Once you slide the rods together, you’ll need to use the tool it came with to screw in the tiny screws (2 screws per rod… see pic. The 2 screws go into the bottom 2 holes where the rods connect. Repeat for each piece. There is 1 extra screw).
    Note: It’s not a regular screwdriver so save the tool it comes with if you need to disassemble later.
    Once you’ve assembled the rod, it screws easily into the base (I did this part first and popped in the little plastic covering at the base before I assembled the rod and it was fine) then just press in the silicone LED piece (after the rod is assembled).

    Once you do that, it is sturdy enough (if you bump into it then yes, it could easily tip over). But it’s not a fragile piece.
