I purchased one of these to mount on our side by side to hopefully (was skeptical at the price) record some of our outings. After a couple of tests I'm pretty impressed with this kit. There wasn't a mount that was "made" for how I intended to install but was able to make what was included work. After driving around on a couple of different types of terrain I think this is going to do just fine, I'm not noticing where the mounts aren't allowing much give and seem to keep it very stable even during bumpy times.
Others have mentioned how poor the battery life is but I am running it on the 1080P@60 setting and it seems that one battery lasted around 45 minutes or more. I recorded about an hour and a half of video on not even 2 batteries. I didn't even realize I'd left it running and noticed 20 minutes later it was still going. I plan on creating a continuous power supply for it though so not as big of an issue.
Watching video on the app seems to buffer almost constantly and was jumpy which originally confirmed my suspicion for junk, but once I put the video on my laptop I actually am quite happy with this purchase.
I've only really recorded with it in the clear waterproof case while riding which hinders the audio but I was still able to make out some of it.
I cannot comment on the 2K or 4K quality but the 1080P setting seems okay.
UPDATE: After less than 9 months, only 2 or so of actual use, one of the 3 batteries is no longer charging. Customer service sent information to purchase a set of replacement batteries that are about a 30% larger capacity than the originals.
UPDATE2: I have been working with REMALI customer support over an issue with another model REMALI camera. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase REMALI instead of one of the other brands of this same style camera. It's very clear in speaking with them that they care about the business and their customers. Once this other issue gets fixed and stock becomes available, I'm already planning on purchasing a third REMALI (would be my second of this model).
Sure there are things that could be better, but for the price, the camera and kit you get is well worth the money. If you need a more feature rich camera upgrade to their CapturePro.
