Does not connect to Apple MacBook Air or MacBook Pro 2024+

This camera has serious problems and terrible support. At first the support team suggested it was my MacBook Air that was incompatible, then my monitor. When I have replaced both items with brand new tech to accomodate this supposed state-of-the art camera and light kit, it cannot be recognized as a camera option in brand new MacBook Pro. Even downloading their own software doesn't allow it to find its own camera. I've submitted emails to the support team, and they are not responsive. There is no chat or tech support at all, and their refund policy is very poor – I'm now past the 30 day refund window, and this thing has yet to connect to anything. This "drop down camera" is an interesting concept, but I'm a very unhappy customer who is out nearly $300. I don't think this product is Apple compatible at all. Buyer beware.

    Perfect! I’ve been virtual since 2014. I finally upgraded my camera and I’m so happy! I no longer have to disconnect from the eyes of the other person. I feel it makes a huge difference in connecting over virtual meetings. Setup was easy. The one light on top helped me eliminate two other lights I had. It’s all in one. Camera (and the light is worth it!) light on my face is wonderful. My image quality is good. My self proclaimed nerd husband says he thought the camera qualities would be better, but I think it’s just fine!!! I like that it zoom effect closer to my face and doesn’t show the whole room!

    A great combination of webcam and light

    I bought this to replace a Logitech 1080p webcam and ring light.

    The video performance from the iContact 4K is what you'd expect from a 4K webcam: sharp and crisp, with effective auto focus. The light's color temperature and brightness is adjustable to provide the right color balance. The light also eliminated reflections from my glasses due to the angle of the mounted light.
    The minimal downside:
    * I needed to duct-tape the combo device to my monitor to keep it secure (it's a 4K TV).
    * There's no adjustment for magnifying picture size…you adjust the size by moving the monitor.

    I'm recommending this camera to my clients as a cost-effective option for looking their best when doing podcasts or broadcast interviews.

    Seems like a decent camera so far. The concept is great.

    Could definitely be a better camera image quality for this price. It's a fair step down from my built-in camera.

    Biggest issue is that the unit came used and opened.

    Everything was just stuffed in the box loosely. The light doesn't seat properly on the top of the camera

    Unfortunately, where I live, returning it isn't feasible, so I'm stuck with it. Would probably return it otherwise.

    Also doesn't work well with a curved screen, as the mounting set up the way it is means it falls forward easily. Had to add tape.

    Good concept needs work and better customer experience….
