When I say this television is amazing. I had to buy two of them. My enjoys the clarity and the many features that come with it. My son didn't want to go to bed because of the quality. I will definitely buy another one for sure. I'm just waiting on the one in our bedroom to go out. Pray for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Always in update mode

    Like the picture but just like other reviews- constantly updates. Then you need both remotes because catv remote doesn't interface with tv in update mode. My second comment is the tv never wants to stay in catv-mode. Always sits in start mode and occasionally decides to connect with catv box. Has good sound quality.

    The ThinQ O/S is a terrible nightmare

    Bought this TV because it had the best picture of all of the big screens in the big box store. But had no idea how terrible the setup would be. During setup, the TV decided to update itself and then kept showing this long legal form that forces you to agree to let them spy and collect data on you. The TV also couldn't read the rabit ears so couldn't setup OTA channels. Fortunately I am using input through the HDMI input and don't need to use the built in apps. A truly terrible experience, if it weren't so much hassel, I'd box it up and take it back!

    Terrible TV software and remote

    The TV setup software was a complete nightmare. I got stuck completing it and had to call tech support and they couldn’t resolve it. Instead I tried various hacks to fix it and finally fixed it.

    I’m a retired software developer with 38 years of experience and they should terminate every team member who wrote it and the QA people who tested it (they probably didn’t). They essentially released a defective product.

    The remote is too small and hard to read in the dark. The documentation on using it is bare bones and useless.

    There are two settings options which is confusing and very badly designed. One setting menu is the only way to design a product and having two is an insult to consumers.

    I’ve bought LG products in the past, but given all these issues I never will again.

    As far as their tech support is concerned, they have limited knowledge I think because they have too many similar products and they all work slightly differently. Who does this? Even the remotes are not the same.

    I may return the TV if I can’t get a Roku to work since their built in streaming lacks a huge amount of content and you can’t just add on (a total waste).
