Connecting Envoy Pro 1A to a USB-C host requires a USB-A to USB-C adapter (available separately). When using Envoy Pro 1A with drives that have a heatsink, the top cover of the Envoy Pro 1A should not be installed (should remain off). However, OWC does not recommend prolonged use without the cover. OWC does not recommend removing the heat sink – doing so may void the warranty for the installed drive.
