Meh … A Bit Disappointing
I purchased the JSJGETYI – 10”, LCD Writing Tablet, with a Vinyl, Protective Case to use with my preschooler granddaughter, who is practicing her numbers & letters. I’m a bit disappointed with this item but, it works and will do.I like that it is a 10” Writing Tablet, and I like the Lock feature, which allows me to lock-in-to-save my writings. However, the screen does not lock, which means, I can accidentally write atop my writings. The Lock feature only locks the eraser, preventing the drawing from being erased.The images in the listing show a brightly illuminated sample of drawings that this Tablet (apparently) produced for their advertisements … yet, my drawings are not bright, azure blue, as shown in the listing photos. My drawings are a dim, dull green. In the daytime, my drawings look dim, inside my house. At night, under reduced lighting, they are hard to see. But, my drawings show-up nice & bright in my photos, which is due to my camera’s flash making the drawings look great. In reality, the photos look a whole lot brighter than my Writing Tablet looks, in person.The Writing Tablet feels a bit flimsy, and the stylus doesn’t stay put in the little tray. This Writing Tablet produces a thick line, which means that I have to write less on this Tablet. When I write smaller, my letters aren’t crisp & clear, due to the thickness of the produced writings. So, I have to write bigger on this Tablet.The Writing Tablet works, and it will suffice for my needs but, it’s just not living up to the listing photos, which is why I can only give this product a 4-Star rating.

    I had received this solely to be given to a family member who loves to draw …until I realized how much I started using it for keeping daily notes..we end up actually sharing this pad that I might just give in and get a second one..she uses it for sketching and drawing and just doodling ..and when I need to write some notes or shopping lists I take it to the store with me..I don't need to take my phone out..I can just let this sit in the cart and grab my items..I despise having to reach in my bag and have to turn my entire phone on just to shop and putting it back in the bag and taking it back out…this is not expensive so I don't worry about losing it like I do the phone..and it sits where I need it and I don't leave the store forgetting to get five items each other visit..it helps with reminders ..I keep it out and check out if I've got appointments or classes that day or family functions and I just don't know how I coped without it..and when I don't need it my family member uses it for practicing drawing and other art activities ..great and inexpensive definitely recommend.

    Jot notes or sketches Paper saver – but

    There is no off exactly – can write on the pad with switch in both lock and unlock position .Only erases in the unlocked position. The pen comes with a rubber end which might make you think you can erase individual items but that is not the case -erasing is all or nothing by way of the erase button, no editing. The fact that you can write in both locked and unlocked is OK? – when locked you can't erase on accident , but you CAN write on accident and the cover itself seems to be able to mark the screen as well so this limits its use quite a bit. You can't really write notes on this and then take it with you even in the locked state as the cover may make notes unreadable in transit. I'm fairly sure mine is working properly and this is how it works , although it seems odd that on aka unlocked mode simply controls the erase function and NOT the ability to write. I thought I saw a video indicating that while locked you couldn't write or erase – might have been another pad? Still this is useful particularly for practice drawing , keeping notes that you will snap photo of, rewrite or to leave notes to family propped up on the counter or what have you. The case can also act as a stand by folding the cover. The stylus/ pen slot doesn't "hold" the pen well, so using the clip on the stylus to fasten it to the case is probably the best way to avoid losing the stylus. Overall this is a neat item. As long as your expectations DO NOT exceed the limitations mentioned it may be useful to you and provide a paper free way to jot and doodle for kids and adults. I do not regret ordering at all. It will be very useful to me next to my computer – convenient way to jot down information I need to enter on another screen- particularly when the the website / page is blocking the copy function for security purposes. If the write function were blocked in the locked position this pad would be a ton more more useful and earn an extra star in my opinion as would better instructions as you just sort of have to figure all this out. The instructions say insert battery ( it's already in there ) points to POWER button which is actually the unlock lock switch – this is confusing- The appearance indica
    It is cool though and has its uses so I'm giving it 3 stars.

    EXACTLY what I wanted

    I've seen this technology around for a while now and have hesitated to make a purchase. I coach a few outdoor sports and a few companies have been marketing this technology for sideline coaching boards (replacing whiteboards). It makes total sense given how functional this writing tablet is.

    The lock feature allows notes to stay visible without the chance of mistaken deletion.
    The stylus is fine. It's not great and other pointed objects work on this device as well, but it's fine.

    I love that it's anti-glare and can be seen in all lights. While it's a bit smaller than a typical sideline board, I will be able to use this for practices and games.

    Big fan of this item.
