Solid build and does what it says.The arm is perfect for a laptop but maybe a tad short for use with an external monitor.You can use it with a monitor though, you just need to adjust your line of view accordingly.I have done a brief comparison with pictures, but bear in mind this is designed (I believe) primarily for laptops and it will reach the middle/center of most laptop screens.ImprovementsI'd love to see a telescopic arm i.e., one that can be pulled down to varying lengths, but this section fills a niche in the meantime.I'd also love the arm to be longer so it works well/is adjustable for external monitors.I do have a great competitor product btw, and it's the longer arm webcam in the pictures.

    I have had this for a few days and I have used for a number of Teams meetings. Resolution is fantastic, and it is really nice having the remote. The Packaging and build quality seemed good, but the thing needs to work. It was plug and play and requires no drivers to install. The remote works directly with the camera and does not need any special software install (I am using it mainly on Linux so this was a good feature for me). Note that Initially , I could not get this camera recognized despite trying a number of cables and ports, and several different computers (Windows PC, Chromebook, and Linux). Then, for unclear reasons it started working and no issues since then (I did not change any settings or anything, just a matter of plugging it in a few times, still don't know why it started working). Bottom line: the camera has upped my online game significantly. I wish the stick went even further down toward the middle of the screen, but even now I can multitask and check internet for facts while in a meeting without my eyes roaming as much on camera, which is the main reason i bought it. Wasn't expecting to have such good resolution and adjustability of settings – a big plus.

    I give lots of presentations and workshops and record lessons, so I use a webcams several times a day. I've been holding off on buying one of these for a year because the technology on these was still developing. I took me a while to decide to spend the money on this type of webcam but I'm so glad I did. This little camera is great, takes up no space, sits perfectly in the middle of my screen when I'm giving presentations allowing me to look at the workshop participants straight (w/ no head titling). When I'm not using using it, I can slide it to the side of the screen and I don't even notice it.
    All the other webcams I've had have either had to be mounted on a small tripod in order to get it to be in the middle of the screen, or took up too much space on my screen when mounted to be in the middle. This little device is perfect and I highly recommend it.
