I had the exact error message on my HP printer that SmartInk referenced. Alexa stayed on the chat until the issue was resolved. I was uncertain of the viability of a non-oem cartridge but was pleasantly surprised. Alexa even sent me replacements since one cartridge showed low. I will always use SmartInk! At half the price and great service, you must try them.

    Initially, the ink cartridges didn't work, due to HP's updates. I called Orly and they provided me with a code to fix the issue. The colored ink initially worked fine, but, the black cartridge didn't work at all. I called them back, they sent me a brand new set of ink. Works great, print quality is excellent. Just as good, in my opinion as the HP ink at roughly 3 times the cost. While I saved money with this ink, I must say, their customer service is exceptional and totally worth 5 stars. The speed at which they responded to both my calls was amazing. I will definitely be purchasing this ink in in the future for all my printing needs.

    Need to be aware if you have a MAC, I couldn't "back date" my printer

    I ordered the ink because the HP ink prices are ridiculous at well over $120 for the black and colored XL cartridges. When the Smart Ink came, they wouldn't work with my printer as the printer had updated software. Because I have a Mac and not a PC, I couldn't "back date" my printer using the instructions. I called the listed support number and they were very helpful and expedited shipping me the ink that was specifically updated for my MAC and printer. After loading the new cartridges, it was still giving me a message that a couple of the colors didn't read properly. I unplugged the printer and after a minute I plugged it back in. It took several minutes to read the ink, but when it rebooted, it worked fine. The ink is great and for a fraction of the cost of HP ink!!
