A Great Affordable Tablet!

A Great Affordable Tablet!
As someone who has been using the same drawing tablet for probably a decade now, the Artisul A1202 was a very refreshing try. It comes with your standard tablet accessories, including plenty of extra nibs for the pen and aconvenient pouch to store said accessories. On my first impression, I was honestly caught off guard by how large the tablet was. The A1202 is 12 inches with a 10x6in drawing space, much larger than my previous Wacom Bamboo, so I spent a lot of time just getting used to having so much space to move my hand across the tablet. I don’t think you necessarily need a larger drawing space to have a better digital art experience, it mostly comes down to preference, but I did end up enjoying the extra room. The tablet is lightweight, and I did not experience any noticeable lag while drawing. My favorite feature of the tablet would probably be the built in buttons, there are 8 on the tablet and two on the pen itself, which you can easily assign to brush keys through the Artisul app. It was nice not have to reach across the screen to switch brushes, and definitely helped my productivity when drawing.Overall, I think this is a great and affordable tablet for those looking to get into digital art, you get a great value for your money!

I've been looking for a new tablet for a while, when I came across this one. This tablet is very affordable and super easy to use! It only took me a second to download the drivers and set it up just like my old tablet. It is recommended that you uninstall drivers for other tablets when installing this tablets driver. I didn't follow that step cause my old tablet still has life in it and I wanted to use it till it croaks. Because of this I had some issues with drivers conflicting and pen pressure not working.

Other than the small issues on my part I had no problem with this tablet. It's an excellent tablet as there is little to no learning curve if you're used to drawing tablets already. I really love how it feels when drawing on it too cause it feels super smooth almost like paper! My hand sticks to my old tablet but my hand glides really nicely across this one and it's super satisfying. ^^

I sat down for about 7 hours after I got this tablet and made the art I attached above. It draws just as good if not even better than my old tablet. After drawing on a tablet with such low pen pressure, then switching to this one with so many levels of pen pressure, it made such a huge difference and made my art feel much nicer.

The only main issue I've had with this tablet is that there is a small lag in brush strokes however this could be a setting issue. But the precision outweighs that issue a hundred to one. Overall I highly recommend this if you're looking for something on the cheap side and don't wanna buy Huion, Wacom, or a GAOMON tablet.

I bought this for my son because it was advertised as win/mac/chrome compatible. Went to the website to get the drivers and all they had was windows or Mac. I hooked it up to my desktop and it's a great drawing board, just not with android..

EDIT: after writing this I realized you don't necessarily need drivers for android. Alot of stuff is download an app and/or plug&play. Haven't been home to see yet though.

I love how large and inexpensive this drawing tablet is and I have tested it with both my Windows PC and my MacBook Pro and works great on both systems. When I tried using it with my Android Samsung S21 Ultra smartphone, I noticed the drawing area was not proportionally correct. After contacting and communicating really well with the Artisul Tech Support, they reported back stating that this Artisul A1201 drawing tablet is not yet compatible with the Samsung S21 devices. I will be patiently waiting for that update but in the meantime, drawing on this nice & large, yet still compact and portable tablet with the excellent shortcut buttons, on Adobe Photoshop, works awesome!
