    I like it, we connected it to our iphone to watch movie. Not necessarily use iphone brand HDMI adapter, we didnt buy it coz to me it is pricey, we called amazon customer service and gave us the link for the apple mfi certified HDMI adapter which we also bought from amazon that is way more cheaper than apple brand. Then once we have everything we removed the round cover of the projector to show it on our wall, connected the hdmi adapter to projector and iphone, then using the remote we turned on the projector, go to settings then clicked hdmi to mirror the phone on the projector. The screen can be adjusted on the projector.

    I love this projector now and would buy again mainly because the customer service was amazing! They went above and beyond to help me get this working. First off it doesn’t come with the piece you need if your wanting this for outside use or use by your phone. You need a Apple Lightning HDMI to iPhone connector to make this work. Save yourself the time and buy this and the apple brand you will thank me later. Also if you don’t want to use your iPhone then get an Amazon fire stick to watch Netflix etc. I tried for days to get this projector to work, finally contacted customer service they sent me what was needed and it now works like a charm! For the price of this projector the picture quality is great. This is so much better than I expected. Customer service was AMAZING!! Buy the projector and the parts I mentioned and you will love it!

    Great for the price

    This is a case of getting more than I would have expected for the price point. I use it with a Chromecast as the source via the HDMI port. The projector also has a VGA port, a USB port and a SD slot but does not have a "native" video source.
    You'll like it if you don't expect the performance of a 1000$ projector from this one, when it is just above 100$ It has limitations, as expected for its price. I'll list them and how I went to limit their impact.
    – Obtaining focus is a bit difficult and requires a compromise on a flat surface (there will always be an area that is slightly out of focus) and the brightness is not great (I project from 9 feet for a 91" diagonal image). Fix for these limitations : I use a projection screen with the coating that reflects light towards the audience; the projection screen I have has a bit of a bend making it just a bit concave, which is great to have more area in focus; I use it in a windowless garage that I can make very dark
    – It is true Full-HD and the colour rendering is good. I was very nicely surprised to have such good resolution and colour for the price.
    – The fan makes a racket at first and the speaker is just acceptable. Fix for these issues: wait about 30 seconds – the projector is fairly silent after the first few seconds of turning it on; I use an external speaker instead of the embedded speaker (the projector has a standard "headphones" jack).
    – Dust gets inside the projector. I am using it in a dusty environment and found that dust eventually affects the lenses and mirrors inside the projector. Fix: the projector is a simple build that is easy to open and clean out the dust from the innards; after cleaning, I stuck pieces of a Swiffer pad on top of the incoming ventilation grilles to catch the dust before it gets aspirated inside the unit. Hopefully this will work :).
    Despite its limitations I LOVE THIS PROJECTOR – It does exactly what I need it to do and it was fun tinkering to get the most out of this little thing. You can't get better for its unbeatable price.
