Wacom experience at an extremely low low price(LINUX users welcome).

Wacom experience at an extremely low low price(LINUX users welcome).
I don't know where to begin, this tablet is fantastic for those of us who simply dislike Windows. As a Linux user and artist I was 100% Wacom user, but my Intuos 4 XL is in the grave now and it lasted me an insane long time :(, since 2007. I had been searching for a good replacement and I have now found it. Linux support is great out of the box, no crazy config or anything like that, just install the app and you're ready to go. The tablet overall just feels good. Great design, the pad feels like you're drawing on paper and it feels natural. about 90% of the reviews on YouTube were extremely positive which is why I took the chance and bought it. Really great price point too. I attached a picture of a quick sketch so you can see that this tablet is really good. The wheel for zoom/rotate feels smooth and the programmable keys are good too.My only complaint about it is how light the pen is. I wish it had a bit more weight to it, like the Wacom art/grip pen has. If you're in the market for a tablet give this a shot. I have tried others and none felt as good as this one when drawing. XP-Pen (Star06)came in second, Huion(610) third.

This thing is cool and I mean really cool. It’s hooked up to my laptop and my phone and it’s actually a very easy learning curve to learn. It’s the apps themselves that are a little difficult but using a medium like this makes it so much easier and it’s fun and it came with so many tips And I really really love the simplicity of it. I have not had any problems at all with it.
Drawing ability is just a hair under perfect only because I’m not a professional that’s why I say that there’s no telling what an actual professional could do with this tool but for me it’s awesome. It’s very light not heavy fits on your lap perfectly.
All the buttons are, the little wheel thing is super cool. It just makes things fun.😁

I would rate this great and overall good for beginners. There are pros and cons, but of course, for it's price, this is amazing.

I specifically said for beginners, as you already know, for professionals you need to get something better and more expensive. Overall feeling is smooth and gentle, you don't need to apply too much pressure and everything works as intended.

Cons: lines aren't 100% accurate, so this device is not for doing something like architecture buildings and projects that require ultra-precision, but it is good for general drawing, lineart and etc. But even for line art I'd use pen tool and vectors mostly instead of direct drawing. If you already know what you're doing than you will understand what I mean.

To summarise artists have to do rough sketches, than general line art and precision line art. This device can handle all 3, but a bit inaccurate in that last department, but as mentioned, by a bit. For example, I'm doing a straight line. I'd say even with Ruller that line is 97-98% accurate. For diagonal lines 95% accurate. So yeah it is close enough.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

The main thing I like about this drawing tablet is the dial wheel. It helps me adjust the color easier when drawing which saves me time. In terms of control, it is a very simple control that is easy to learn. I wanted something that is easy to use and this hits the spot. For the most part, the veikk pads are pretty responsive which is nice and it is actually pretty accurate for the most part. When drawing and watching the screen, it was relatively on point. It is a decent quality and the surface has not worn down even after constant use nor is it scratched easily. This does have a good mat finish so I can easily move on the surface. I would still recommend being very careful not to drop this tablet as the outer shell is a prone to dents. There is also electronics inside that can be damaged from a fall. Also do not let the buttons get caught on anything and pulled up. That being said, I would recommend to get a sleeve or something to put this in to provide better protection, easier storage and easier to carry around. The next thing is that it uses type c cable instead of micro usb so you get a better connection and response. It does not have a type c to type c cable but it does come with an adapter. This allows you to connect it to your phone or laptop/desktop too. The cable has a good length to it so it can be used on your desktop. Be aware that the adapter is a bit big so you may not be able to plug this into your phone or tablet if it has the case on. The type c does also power the drawing tablet and you need to be connected. Apple products has no problems with connection using the adapter. I am unsure if this will work with apple ipads. The controls buttons are pretty easy to learn and follow. If you wish, you can program as needed for short cuts and stuff. This makes it great for opening applications you may need without needing to go to your mouse. One thing to note is that this is meant for right handed people mostly as the controls are on the left hand side so you can easily press and control the brush and such. That being said, it does not hinder someone who is left handed from using it. The buttons feel okay quality and I am worried they will wear down though as I use the same buttons repeatedly. It does not require too much pressure to push the button down. It also did not take too long to get used to what button does what. The pen actually works pretty well. It does not require any batteries which is nice. In terms of accuracy, the pen is even more accurate and on point than most. It recognizes the touch pretty much the instant you touch the screen. I did not have to calibrate it or anything. Also there is no pairing necessary to get the pen to work with the tablet. The tablet worked with all operating system for Mac. This tablet work just fine with Big Sur. When working with PC, I had no trouble getting this to work and I did not really require any drivers to get this to work. It was all automatically detected. It does also work with android but be aware it has to be 6.0 and higher to work. The pen is very comfortable to hold and use. There is also a pen holder for it so you can put it up. It does not require ANY batteries. I do not see myself doing much editing through my phone application. This definitely a good tablet to have. It is inexpensive, light, and easy to carry with you. The responsiveness is surprisingly good. The dial wheel is what I really like. It makes adjusting color SO much easier.

All and all good tablet. Perfect for beginners and first tablet.

Reviewed in Canada on August 16, 2022

The tablet quality feels good and the pen is fine too. I get why some reviews say that it's quality isn't that good, since it's a notch or two below the tablet's, but honestly it's really not bad. If you aren't used to $150+ tablet, it won't bother you at all.

The driver from their site allows to set the keys, the pressure sensitivity, the working area, right or left hand mode, etc.

The only issue I have is the Left-hand mode not working well when Windows Ink Function are enabled.
All and all great tablet and really fast shipping.
