You’re better off with a Google Card Board.

You’re better off with a Google Card Board.
I’ve been buying VR headsets since they first came out about 4 years ago. The one I brought from 5 & below 4 years ago was better then this. It was ok, BUT You can get a better headset for cheaper if you have an iPhone. I would assume bc Android gives you more flexibility with 3rd party devices you could get more use out of this product.I figured the remote wouldn’t work as well due to me having an iPhone. All the remote is good for is going home & volume settings. Even that was bare minimal. All the content I downloaded kept spinning even though I calibrated it. Only thing I could pretty much do was watch YouTube videos, but that got old very quick.Next, the switches jam & start to hurt your fingers.Lastly, it’s glue on the lens & inside the lens that won’t come off that compromises the view along with the jamming switches.Just ended up returning

Thank you for your feedback

We bought the VR headset as a present for our older son. We wanted him to play with 3D games on the phone. This unit is well cushioned around the eyes and forehead, and the straps are easily adjustable to fit from kids to adults. In the end, all of us play with it, it's really fun.
The headset It fits my Note 10+ pretty well.
The bluetooth controller has a good size, it works well for both adults and kids.
On the apps side, we used both the apps that came with the headset (there is a link to download them) and Google Cardboard.
    I highly recommend it!

This device was not compatible with any of the phones I used. I used three different ones.

For the money, this is a great option for a budget vr headset. It works just fine, it fits my galaxy note 8, and it gets the job done.

However, I do beleive there are higher quality devices out there if you are more serious about your phone and virtual reality.

As far as comfort, the headset is good for short periods of time but after about 15 minutes of use it starts to irritate the bridge of my nose (where most of the weight likes to sit, that might be because I have a large heavy phone) as well as when I wear glasses it hurts along my temples.

The remote actually works pretty well, but I found it a huge pain trying to connect it to my phone, as the remote was not immediately visible to my device.

Lastly the focus isn't perfect, you can adjust the lenses but it seems that no matter how much adjustment I try, I can never get a perfect focus. Whenever I use it I have to accept that it's going to be just a little bit blurry.

This was a good starter headset for me, even though my experience wasnt perfect, I got what I wanted out of it.

It's a great item for the price. I bought it for my 6 year old and ended up playing on it myself. It takes android and iPhone, it has the availability to adjust the lenses to accommodate to various eye widths, and it's head band fits many different head sizes. It was a good buy for a beginner VR headset.

I was hoping this would be a nice portable alternative to my PSVR for watching movies/games and letting my daughter play with – but it’s not. I’m guessing this thing works much better on Android than it does with iPhone, bc it’s essentially useless with an iPhone – zero navigation control. The remote won’t do anything on nearly every app I tried, and only adjusts volume when it does work. My iPhone 11 Pro didn’t fit securely in the clamp, and has issues with falling out. I kept having to slide the phone tray out and navigating to the video I wanted to watch, then sliding it back in, which caused the phone to either slip out of the clamp completely or shift left/right and need adjustment. The included instructions have a setup QR code and recommends using Google Cardboard. The cardboard app won’t even work bc it requires a VR headset with a button! I even downloaded an app to create a custom QR code without a button and it didn’t really help much at all. The 3D effect is mediocre, and nowhere near as good as the PSVR, but I didn’t really expect it to be. It is also surprisingly quite heavy with an iPhone 11 Pro and was uncomfortable on my nose. Chromatic aberration/purple fringing is also pretty terrible, but I could look over that in a product this cheap. Build is just ok… doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart, but probably wouldn’t survive many drops without some significant damage (important for anyone with kids).

TL;DR – Overall it’s just too much hassle trying to get it to work with the lack of navigation, useless remote (iPhone), phone slipping out of the clamp, uncomfortable nose position, etc. Just doesn’t really work with an iPhone 11 Pro.

My sons 8 and 9 both love these headsets. They were easy to use and higher quality than cheaper alternatives. If you want to keep it simple and not risk your kids breaking headsets that are hundreds of dollars I definitely recommend getting one of these.

My daughter bought it for me and she was so sad when nothing on it worked! It is just a cheap piece of plastic that resembles one of those old slide viewers – the remote is cheap and comes apart, the software doesn't work, the sharpness adjustment is horrible, fits wrong, comes apart. Absolutely awful – and I am being kind on this review. Seriously, not being malicious – it simply isn't good. NO – this unit will not work with ANYTHING efficiently or otherwise. It is a piece of plastic with two magnifying lenses made of cheap glass. It falls apart merely by touching it, the focus adjustment doesn't work, the software harms your phone, the remote is wobbly and has one tiny screw holding it together, the buttons don't work, it is uncomfortable when you wear it and falls to the sides – it even smells bad as in it could be made with bad materials. This is not a good unit in any one way – there isn't one good thing I could say: "Well this part is OK". I wouldn't use this for a door stop.
