    I was given this as a retirement gift and first thought….okay…thanks…..but I have come to LOVE this little book! It has just enough room to document the day without so much space that it feels discouraging to have to fill it. I am almost to the end of the first book, all 5 years, and enjoyed it so much that I have purchased another one for myself. I've also given a number of them out, along with a nice pen or set of pens, as retirement gifts and they have been well received.

    The cover is nice, however the logo branding on the cover makes it feel upside down. Pages are thick with minimal ink seepage to the back side of the paper. The storage pocket is a nice attribute. Great small everyday notebook to throw in a bag.

    Not all paper is created equal. This paper is not great for fountain pens, which is a good litmus test. I gave this away to someone who doesn't use luxury pens. They like it!

    I am not really sure what you'd want to know beyond what the description already states except that, while a lot of products seem to oversell how good they are, this one did not.

    It feels nice. It looks nice, and if a book can be said to have bells and whistles, then this has them. The band holds it closed so the pages don't get mangled. You have two ribbons to use as bookmarks for whatever part of the journal you want to reference. There's nothing frayed or falling apart. The paper inside doesn't feel cheap.

    The only thing that sucks about this item is that I only have one and it almost feels like a shame to mark it up.

    Even as an obsessive and picky journaler, I really appreciate the quality of this journal. The pages are thick and creamy, with narrow-spaced lines. There are two ribbon bookmarks, and complimentary, high-quality, colorful sticky flags in the back pocket. The cover doesn't scratch easily. The only super-minor con (which is a personal preference, rather than a flaw) is that there is a narrow margin on the pages. Will definitely buy more.
