gamechanger with easy operation
My parents were hobbyist divers and loved having a 28,000 gallon in ground pool for years. After my dad passed, my mom found it difficult to maintain and clean the massive 10 ft deep pool regularly. This little robot guy is a gamechanger! Simply turn it on, choose a cleaning mode (full, turbo, eco, or custom), and put it into the pool. It comes with a retrieval hook head tool that attaches via spring pins to any standard pool maintenance tool pole, so removing it from the pool when it's done is easy. The chamber holds a lot of debris. The robot is rechargeable and needs to be fully charged every 3 months when not being used (when the pool is winterized and covered, for example) to maintenance the battery. There is an app through which you can register your robot and control functions via Bluetooth when the robot is not submerged in the water. The filter basket, filter, and sponge need to be removed and rinsed clean after every use. Compared to cleaning a whole pool by yourself, rinsing some filter parts is extremely convenient. The robot is very efficient and even scrubs the waterline and the steps. It can't get between the ladder and the wall, so we still have to scrub behind that. The pool is a vinyl-lined pool, so I'm impressed that the robot cleaner can actually scale the slippery sides. In the shallow end, you can feel through the liner the footprints of the crew that last installed a new liner because they didn't smooth out the sand after wearing their boots in it and walking around before vacuum sealing the vinyl. The robot cleaner struggles to get all the debris out of those size 11 boot indentations, but that isn't its fault. Mom loves how easy it is and I love not worrying that she's gonna accidentally fall in trying to clean the pool the hard way.

    Excellent Pool Robot, Disappointing App

I was excited to try this cordless pool robot because it not only cleans the floor, walls, and waterline, but it also advertised app connectivity. After using it, I can honestly say the robot itself exceeded my expectations—but the app was a letdown.

The cleaner performs extremely well. It climbs the walls with ease, scrubs the waterline, and covers my entire above-ground pool without getting stuck. When the cleaning cycle is finished, it returns to the side of the pool where it started, making it easy to locate and retrieve. It also charges fairly quickly and has enough battery life to clean my entire pool on a single charge.

My biggest disappointment is the app. The robot only connects to it when it's **out of the water**, which already limits its usefulness. Once connected, the app simply displays the robot model and allows you to select the general shape of your pool. I couldn't find any way to start or stop a cleaning cycle, choose a cleaning mode, monitor battery life, view cleaning progress, or access any meaningful controls. I honestly don't understand the purpose of the app, as it doesn't appear to add any functionality beyond basic setup.

If you're buying this for the cleaning performance, I think you'll be very happy. It's a capable robot that does an excellent job and has made pool maintenance much easier. Just don't purchase it expecting a feature-rich app experience, because the app adds very little value in its current form.

This thing is a beast. I love it. It picks up pool toys without getting hung up. Also picks up sand

This pool cleaning robot is really great. I had an older pool cleaning robot that required it to be attached to the power cord. We really struggled with the cord because it was a trip hazard and the plastic outer coating began to break. It was a mess. So we entertained the idea of getting this wall climbing robot and have been very pleased.

First, we installed a spa that pours into our pool. The contractors spilled a ton of debris into the pool which has taken us a long time to remove. Our old pool robot just couldn't get the silt and sand out of the pool. This robot captured a ton of sand on the first try. I was so happy. The robot doesn't take too long to charge and runs on several different modes. I haven't tried the turbo mode just yet because I am super happy with the regular mode. It swims up the sides of the pool and does a nice job scrubbing and cleaning. It still doesn't 100% replace a brush scrubbing the sides every now and again, but this comes pretty close. The hook it comes with didn't fit on my pool pole, so I had to add some plastic material in between the pole hook and the hook so it would stay, but that was really the only down side to this cleaner.

What makes me happiest is that it runs easily, picks up sand and debris and you can dump it out once it's done. I did, however, dump out some of the debris from the internal catch because I pulled the robot up and out and it tilted sideways a bit, but now I don't do that and all the debris stays inside the catch.

One downside is the internal debris catch or net has a latch on it that will get caught on the pool robot when you go to insert it inside the robot. Eventually I am sure I'm going to snap the lip on the debris catch, but for now, I am just really careful.

All in all, this thing is a beast and cleans really well. I especially like that it picks up sand and when it does suck up little pool toys like diving coins and diving sea shells, they are fine inside the debris catch. I just pop that open and out comes the pool toys.

This is definitely something I would order again.

The robot arrived super fast and in perfect condition no damage to the box. Setup was a breeze – connecting to the app and getting it online was simple and straightforward.

to clean the pool just turn on the robot and then open the app, and you have a few minutes to select your preferred cleaning mode and pattern. Then drop it in the pool, and it slowly sinks before starting its cleaning cycle.

I have an above-ground oval pool, and this robot cleaned it perfectly, especially picking up all the pollen that tends to accumulate. The multiple filters do a great job trapping debris, though I wish the filter case was a little sturdier as it seems weak. So far, I haven’t had any issues with it.
I use the floor mode, but I tried the wall climbing feature and was amazed at how powerful it was – it almost looked like it could climb right out of the pool!
Overall, this robot does a fantastic job cleaning debris from the pool floor. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an easy and effective pool cleaning solution!

I grabbed this C1 robotic pool cleaner with wall climbing and waterline scrubbing to help reduce the amount of manual pool maintenance I have to do throughout the year. Setup was quick and simple that only took a few minutes and doesn't require any special skills. The unit feels well-built and operates smoothly, with strong cleaning capabilities that remove dirt, leaves, and debris from the pool floor. The cordless design eliminates the hassle of dealing with tangled cords, allowing the robot to move freely around the pool while cleaning without getting tangled or trapped. The suction was very good, and it picked up most of the debris in a single pass without pushing debris around. The wall climbing feature works very well, and the waterline scrubbing is especially helpful for removing buildup in an area that is usually difficult to keep clean. I have been running this robot daily for the past four days and I have noticed an improvement to my pool, especially on the walls. My only minor complaint is that, for the cost of the unit, I would have expected the exterior plastics and some components to feel a little more heavy-duty. That said, the cleaning performance is excellent, and it has saved me significant time and effort maintaining my pool. Overall, it is a reliable and convenient pool cleaning solution.

I received this item neatly enclosed in a product box that provides plenty of protection, ensuring that the pool cleaner is received in excellent condition. Inside the box are the robotic pool cleaner, charging equipment, filters, and user materials. After reviewing the product information, everything appears to be included as shown in the product description.

This robotic pool cleaner is designed to handle the floor, walls, and waterline, which provides much more complete coverage than a cleaner that only travels along the bottom of the pool. The dual roller brushes and three motors provide the cleaning power needed to pick up leaves, sand, dirt, and other debris, while the dual-layer filtration system captures both larger debris and finer particles.

I also like that the cleaner offers seven cleaning modes through the app, allowing the cleaning pattern to be adjusted based on the pool. With up to 180 minutes of runtime, it can also handle larger in-ground pools without needing to be recharged during every cleaning cycle.

Overall, this is a capable robotic pool cleaner with thorough coverage, useful cleaning options, and a convenient cordless design. I have enjoyed using this item so far, and I look forward to continuing to do so in the future.

Everyone loves lounging in the pool on a hot summer day, but no one likes cleaning the pool. It is always a choir to get the tree leaves, dirt, debris etc. out of the pool. I got tired of spending half of a day cleaning my pool and I didn't want to have to pay someone to clean it and so I chose this robotic pool cleaner.

This robotic pool cleaner is designed for inground pools up to 1615 sq.ft and can be fully charged in 2,5hrs.

Out of the box this robotic pool cleaner looks impressive. I immediately plugged it in to ensure it had a full charge, read the instructions and downloaded the APP to my phone. Once I set up an account, I was able to discover the pool cleaner and add it as a device. From there I inputted the dimensions of the pool and the cleaning pattern that I wanted it to do. I then took it out to the pool and slowly lowered it to the bottom.

Once it was on the bottom the robot seemed to let out any extra air that was inside and proceed to clean the pool following the pattern I inputted. I watched it crawl along the floor of the pool picking up everything in its path. When it got to a wall it started inching its way up until it climbed to the waterline cleaning as it went. At the surface it then changed directions and started to go back down to complete the cleaning pattern. Once I saw it climb the wall, I knew it was going to be ok and went about enjoying the rest of my day.

A few hours later before I went for a swim, I checked on it and found it was stopped near a wall at the bottom of the pool after completing its cleaning cycle. I didn't feel comfortable using the included hook to pull it up so I just jumped in the pool and retrieved it. I placed it on the edge of the pool to let the water drain out while I checked to see how well it cleaned. I swam all around my pool and although it missed a couple of spots it did a great job.

Once the water was drained, I popped out the filter basket, emptied it, rinsed it, and reinstalled it. I let the robot dry off for the rest of the day and when it was completely dry, I plugged it back in to charge it for next time. That is how easy it is to clean the pool with this robotic cleaner. It is fantastic and we are super happy with this selection.

For the price of the robot cleaner I was actually impressed.

In my opinion it feels like the features and in better lack of works the iq of the robot were cut, but keeping the focus on performance, cleaning capabilities, and wall cleaning.

You get nothing with this cleaner but a robot that can clean the sides and bottom of the pool. That’s the best way I can describe it to you. And it does it very well.

Where I found this priced showed was exactly there lack of features as mentioned, but also a lot of learning needing to be done in the mapping department. It did get better over time once it cleaned the pool more and more, and it even got faster.

But at first you defiantly need to keep an eye on it a tad as it is a very basic mapping system. It reminded me of early early early day robot cleaners that you did a map for but they really learnt as they went.

But for the price point it was expected.

What I was happy to see is there was no corners cut on how well it cleaned, and it was built to clean. I have cleaners 3 times the price of this one and not one of them has a debris basket even half the size of this pool cleaner. It is huge, and honestly makes up for the lack of not having an auto empty feature as I have never seen it be even a quarter full from a clean.

For how well of a job it does overall it cleans every inch. But again not at first. The first time I ran it I would say it got maybe 75%-80% of the pool. Even with charge left over.

But after a week maybe a week and a half it was getting the entire pool and in half the time it did it the first time.

I can easily recommend this if you’re looking for something just to clean your pool. If you don’t care about features and just want a good cleaner, that gets surfaces and walls, it’s great.

I have to admit, cleaning the pool is not what I enjoy the most doing. Especially with large maple trees around my yard, some of those leaves are bound to end up at the bottom of my pool, plus add some extra dirt, pollen etc. Had I known, that these little robots could do such a good job, I would have gotten one way before!

This Talosbo robot pool cleaner is so simple to use and it does a really good job too. I was literally impressed just opening up the box. Beautiful piece of machinery for sure. I quickly connected it so that it could get a full charge while I read the included manual and installed the application.

Once fully charge, I powered it on and discovered it through the application. It mentioned a firmware was available and proceeded to download the firmware which it then installed on the robot cleaner. After a few minutes, it rebooted and was again available in the application. Went through some configuration of my pool size, wall height etc and it was ready to go. Took it outside and slowly dumped it into the pool to see what it could do.

Once it fully sank to the bottom, the unit seemingly filled itself up with water, releasing the leftover air bubbles from within and started moving about in the selected pattern of your choice, previously made on the app. It went about the floor of the pool, picking all it could from the floor without any issues. It then literally started coming up on the walls, cleaning them too like it was nothing, only to come back down and head the other way after.

Once it was done, or the battery was done, still unsure about that, it stopped by the side of the pool wall and I was able to pull it out using the included hook. Cleaning it was a simple task; simply opening up the lid, pulling out the filter cartridge and emptying out it content. Being a salt pool, I also took the time to spray normal water all around the unit, just in case.

Very simple machine, that will save you time and effort. It is like have your own personal pool cleaner. Quite happy with this unit and its simplicity of usage.

This rechargeable robotic pool vacuum does a really great job of sucking up debris and scrubbing the walls and waterline.

I really appreciate it’s smaller size which makes it a lot lighter and easier to manage than an older pool vacuum that I have.

My pool gets direct sunlight almost all day and I don’t usually get a lot of debris in my pool throughout the summer months. I let my neighbours try this pool cleaner as well. They have a much larger pool than I do and many trees around their pool which causes a lot of debris to accumulate on their pool floor. I wanted to see how well this smaller robot would do with a bigger pool and more debris?
It did really well. My neighbours did find that turning off the option to scrub the walls guaranteed that this vacuum would cover the entire floor area in one charge.
This smaller cleaner will definitely vacuum the entire floor of a bigger pool, but likely not scrub all of the walls as well.
Worked great for my 60,000 litre pool though!

Great value for inground round/rectangular pools … struggles with above oval types

    Pool Context & Setup

Tested in an above-ground, 36×24 oval pool (rectangular center with curved ends), though this cleaner is marketed primarily for in-ground pools. Findings may vary on flat-walled, in-ground setups.
    Navigation & Pattern Mapping

The C1 uses basic preset patterns (rectangular/circular) rather than true spatial mapping. For my oval layout, the app recommended a "star pattern"—measuring length and width midpoints to radiate outward from the center. In practice, the central point drifted, causing sporadic coverage, repeated paths, and a dead battery before it could cover the whole floor. The firmware needs better algorithms for oval and hybrid shapes.

    Wall Climbing & Floor Obstacles

    * Vinyl Wall Performance: Traction on vinyl-lined steel panels is surprisingly strong. It scrubbed off light algae, though heavy stains still require a manual brush.

    * Bowed Wall Crests: Our pool's side panels have slightly bowed outward over time. In these curved crests, the outer tracks lost contact, leaving the robot spinning in place for far too long before timing out. Interestingly, it once traveled horizontally around the lower wall like a race car, which was actually much more effective than vertical climbing.

    * Concrete Ladder Pad: It also got stuck straddling a 1-inch raised concrete ladder pad on the floor. Because it tracks progress by wheel rotation timing rather than motion or optical sensors, it doesn't realize it isn't moving. A firmware update with a simple dislodge algorithm (e.g., stopping, backing up, and turning 15°) would fix this.

    App Setup Quirks

Upon pairing, the app opens to a "Hints" screen. You must accept/confirm this screen before the app unlocks customization and pattern controls. On day one, I assumed there were no app features and ran it manually from the physical button—first-time users should make sure to click through those hints.

    Suction & Debris Handling

Vacuuming power is great for solid debris—it picked up fine white sand, leaves, and organic matter with ease. It includes a fine foam insert for trapped debris (not microscopic free-floating algae). It cleans its path well, but because its pattern re-crosses the same spots, it leaves untouched patches on a dirty pool's first pass. It works best for daily maintenance rather than heavy single-pass cleanups.

    Charging & Retrieval

    * Charging Limitations: The power supply block is not waterproof, and the adapter cord is extremely short. You have to manually haul the wet robot indoors or to a dry area to charge it.

    * Retrieval: When the battery dies, it parks at the pool edge. It usually returned to my main deck, but once stopped near a fenced wall, requiring a me to balance on the pool wall supports to fish it out 🙂

    Overall Verdict

A solid cleaner with strong suction and great vinyl wall traction, held back by "dumb" pattern navigation, long stuck-timeouts on minor floor/wall flaws, and what seems like an inability to filter fine algae (though unconfirmed). Firmware updates offering better oval patterns and active dislodge logic would easily make this a more useful machine for me. As it stands, it cannot seem to cover all the floor of the pool and I avoid the wall cleaning due to my wall structure … again, if you have an in-ground pool you will likely fall in love with this little cleaner.
