I really like these books. Everyone on my holiday list is going to get one.
The hard cover is quite lovely, I like the way it feels, expensive and somewhat leathery, and durable, which all make it a really good value for the money. The paper is not super thin or thick. It's just right for my needs. I usually write with a G2 pen or any pen I can find. I also have tons of erasable pens for my rocketbook, but I keep accidentally using non-erasable pens there. Anyways, I don't think the pages will bleed through; they feel thick enough not to. There are two of each color and they are individually wrapped.
There is a stretchy book mark/clasp as well as a shiny ribbon book mark. There is even a little pocket, which expands to be quite big. I think if you use the pocket, the book might not close as well, so you would need the stretchy book mark/clasp as a closure.
My favorite part is that at the top of each page it has the days of the week and a space to add the date. I find that keeping my notes with dates, is really important, but I often forget, so having this reminder to add the date and even circle the day of the week, is priceless.
At the front, it has a "This notebook is used for:" which is also important to me. I have multiple businesses. I used to use one notebook with different color pens, or write the name of the business on the page or near the note, but I think I will just keep one notebook per business and one for personal matters and that will keep me better organized.
It also has an "In case of loss" section including a reward! I don't ever take my books anywhere, so I am not going to lose them, but I bet if I put $20 in there, someone would return it if I lost it.
You know how I said everyone on my list is going to get one? I might have just changed my mind. Maybe I will keep them all for myself. Or at least a handful of them. I'm getting excited about getting organized.
For the price you get a decent amount of notebooks- overall good deal!
They have hard back and front covers making them durable, a book mark string, and a rubber band type string to keep the book closed shut if wanted…
As shown in my last picture – I was happy to discover the folder like pouch that's part of the back cover!
Each page has a place for you to circle the day of the week, write the date, and even circle what the weather was like that day (sunny, cloudy, and rainy – being the 3 options that are shown in pictures instead of words..
Love all those little additions to make it more than your regular notebook/journal.
