    This Magic CarPlay box works really well. My car originally had wired CarPlay, so I had to plug in my phone every time I got in. Now it connects wirelessly and automatically within seconds after starting the car, which is very convenient. I also no longer worry about wear and tear on my phone’s charging port from frequent plugging and unplugging.After connecting to the car’s hotspot, I can use the built-in video apps directly. It’s especially useful for watching videos during breaks on long trips. It also supports TF card expansion, making local media playback easy.The connection is stable, and switching between navigation, music, and video is smooth. The dual-band WiFi design is very practical, allowing CarPlay to run in the background while streaming videos without interrupting navigation.     I bought this USB adapter to power my car's dashcam. The original USB port in the car was a bit awkward; the cable would stick out quite a bit, looking messy, and sometimes it would come loose from being touched by hands or objects. After replacing it with this one, the whole setup is much neater. The angle is just right, and the cable can run along the edge, making it much cleaner visually.

    In actual use, the connection is very stable; it doesn't lose power or have poor contact even with vibrations while driving.     Our trip to see my Brother was the first real test of the MYATOTO box, and it slid into the USB port of my 2018 Tiguan without any drama. The dashboard lit up with Wireless CarPlay before I had even reversed off the drive, so for once there were no cables snaking round my coffee cup.

    The big win came twenty minutes later when the twins began that familiar back-seat whine. I tethered my phone’s hot-spot, and YouTube Kids streamed smoothly on the car’s screen. The 4 GB of RAM seems ample, because the video never stuttered, even when we dipped through the patchy signal near Ivybridge. My older two were busy firing WhatsApp messages through the steering-wheel button, and the built-in microphone caught every word, much more clearly than the factory set-up.

    The battery stayed healthy, voice prompts were crisp, and the proximity lock really did blank the display when I nipped into the services. A cracking bit of kit for hassle-free drives.

    I plugged this little CarPlay box into the Civic last week and it instantly felt like the dash got an upgrade. No more scrabbling for a lightning cable after a night shift, the phone stays in my jacket pocket and the screen springs to life by the time I’ve fastened my seat-belt.

    Saturday’s run to gymnastics showed what it can do. Spotify kept the eight year old singing while Google Maps stayed centre stage, all without a hiccup thanks to the dual band WiFi link. And when we stopped for petrol the children talked the AI assistant into queuing up YouTube clips, which played smoothly from the built-in storage, I barely had time to grab a coffee.

    So far it pairs every ignition, recognises my steering wheel buttons and hasn’t crashed once. Build feels solid, the unit hides neatly in the console, and for the convenience it brings to our daily drives I’d happily buy it again.
