Just plug weld
Got the 220v version as I already have that in the garage, extremely doubtful the 120v version would be able to do much. Most all of the stuff I wanted to do on my Mustang did not have space enough to utilize any of the tips except the long bent style (but including the other tipis definitely a step up from other available RSWs on amazon.) How did it work for auto body stuff? Barely. Joining two 18ga panels (on its highest setting) usually took 3-5 attempts of squeezing the handle before getting it to complete the short and start making a red hot nugget. When it did, it was another crap shoot if the panels would remain truly fused. Most of the time I had to do multiple “sessions” to build up the fused area. Finally after 4-5 completed spots, it would go into thermal overload. After the 20th spot, the vise/squeeze handle broke and I returned it. I thought this could save a bunch of time over plug welds, but it really didnt sadly. Any microscopic gap in the panel seams rendered it useless btw so I also had to clamp both sides as close as possible to where i wanted the spot too. If the squeeze handle wasnt plastic, the clamping force significantly higher, and the thermals were actively cooled by a fan or something this could be a functional tool. But even then, its still a monsterously heavy beast to muscle around (i felt like I just completed a full weight training session after using it). Stars as it worked for while. Minus stars for the handle breaking, constant thermal overload protections, and size/weight.

I purchase this spot welder to work in my car project and it can barely weld the 20GA sheet metal.
