I’ll save you some hassle: I put in tile in my kitchen, so if you need space to make up for tile or a bad wall or whatever, get these. I like to flip one or so so they don’t fall off while putting in. And many old boxes won’t let the original screws catch the holes when they are pulled out like this, so I ordered longer screws (#6-32 is the screw, I bought ones that are 1 1/2”). Works great.

    I bought this 48-pack of outlet spacers to fix a couple of switches and outlets sticking too far back in the wall. These things work exactly how you want them to. They’re super easy to stack, cut, or mix depending on how much you need to bring the outlet forward. No tools, no stress — just slide them onto the screws and tighten everything back down.

    These worked PERFECTLY for several outlets I had where the junction box was a little too far back. You can fit two screws through each piece, which is helpful for both the outlet and covers. Very durable too – they’re a little rubbery which helps them be flexible.

Overall would works as extenders/spacers & still an adequate value (though I was able to find for a few cents cheaper in person at Menards).
