The product came in a well-padded package with no damage to the lock. Installation was straightforward, and I very much appreciate that there are picture instructions and expanded, more specific instructions included for this.
Once installed, I chose to set up the lock using the recommended app (which works out great as I had the "Smart Life" app for other smart home products I have already). The app had no problems at all connecting to the lock following the instructions provided. Adding profiles with passcodes and fingerprints was simple and worked right away. I love that there are also expiring passcode options that, once again, are available immediately after setting those up in the app. Of course, if all else fails, there are backup keys included with the lock.
Another nice feature is the audio and visual feedback from the lock. In my pictures, I've included examples of the keypad lighting up and the red/green lights you will see if access is granted or denied. The voice will also tell you if a code is wrong, a fingerprint is unauthorized, or if the batteries are low. To test this out, I put in batteries I knew were already spent and the lock still worked (though understandably a bit more sluggish to move the deadbolt) and reminded me each time that the batteries were low and needed to be replaced. Also worth mentioning the batteries are easy to replace as the back panel both secures nicely and pops up and off nicely when needed.
As for utilizing the smart lock, you don't have to be on your network or connected to the lock directly once it is added to your app, which makes this great for managing the lock on the go, say you forget if you locked your door or not and can check that right from the app, or you need to let a cleaner or babysitter in (or whoever else) but don't want to provide unlimited access to your home with a permanent code or key.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the ease of installation, configuration/management, and the look of the lock. In my case, I am using the lock on my interior garage door, but the lock does have rubber seals on both sides of the lock and would probably do fine with some element exposure.

Hi, I am happy to share my experience with this product. It was packaged very well with all of the screws and some extra also. Has multiple options of accessing and I liked that so much. Earlier I have used other brands and struggled a lot on left/right hinge – auto detection. But this was done very quickly without any efforts. installation took less than 5 minutes and programming is also very easy on the app using the scan code. App works with Bluetooth for locking/unlocking the door. My daughter used ask me passcode and read it again at the door when she want to open. Now I am happy as I have added her fingerprint to the code. she can open any time without telling passcode in public. Working great and smoothly and voice prompts are also very good for confirmation. Auto lock feature can set for max time ( 30 minutes) which is very good with my kids keep opening the doors and leaves like that. Can generate random passcodes for services workers and friends and allocate time when you are away.
I'd buy this again and have already recommended to some friends! Its worked great and app is easy to use.

I was looking for an easy-to-install, hassle-free solution to let my kids come and go during the summer without leaving the house unlocked. This smart deadbolt exceeded my expectations! The lock itself feels solid and has a sleek, modern look that complements my door perfectly. But the real game-changer is the app. I can unlock the door remotely for package deliveries, which has been a lifesaver, especially with all the porch pirates around. My home and deliveries stay secure while giving me the convenience I need. Now to see how it handles a cold Midwest winter (but the app will let me know how the batteries are doing).
