FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
This is about as good as I could ask for within my price range. I wanted to get Quick Charge 3.0 compatibility (18W at 9v/2a), but those are $20 or more, and for what? Just to not have to use my phone's brick? I'll pass.
The plastic "stick" plugs into the bottom socket's Ground and holds the unit in place. The stick mount is not as good compared to using the screw to hold the unit in place, but my outlet's plate didn't have the hole for the screw in the middle. Either way, I just hold the unit against the wall when taking out a plug so it doesn't come off.
I love the (claimed) 1800 Joules protection. It should protect my PC and TV from any surges.
I think the best part is how you can hide ugly wires with this type of design (pic). I thought about going with a power strip, but had the realization that this would be much better for me.
Overall, it seems to be good quality and value for the money. Installation is simply plug-and-play easy.
