If Your Android Tag didn’t work, try the Following:

1. Check Device Compatibility

Make sure your phone’s system version supports the Android tag, generally requiring Android 9.0 or above and not compatible with iOS or Huawei. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.

2. Restart Devices

Restart both your phone and the Android tag to clear any temporary glitches. Wait for the pop-up showing “Wireless tag,” then tap to connect.

3. Factory Reset the Android Tag

Quickly press the function button twice – you will hear one beep. Then, press the function button four times rapidly, and on the fifth press, hold the button until you hear a “ring-ring” chime. This indicates that the device has been successfully reset to factory settings.

4. Grant Necessary App Permissions

Make sure the Google Find My app has all required permissions enabled, such as location and Bluetooth permissions.

5. Update App and System

Confirm that both your phone’s system and the tag app are updated to the latest versions.

6. Dead or Improperly Installed Battery

Open the tag and check the CR2032 battery. Replace it if necessary.
