After researching robot vacuums for a while, I decided to try this SwitchBot robot vacuum and handheld vacuum combo. The setup was mostly straightforward, but there were a few key things I had to get right- especially when installing the handheld vacuum holder.
Setup & Initial Hurdles
The quick-start guide made assembly simple, but I quickly learned that proper alignment of the handheld vacuum holder is crucial. If it’s even slightly off, the vacuum won’t charge or empty properly. At first, I didn’t realize mine was misaligned, and I ran into charging issues. Thankfully, the SwitchBot app’s troubleshooting section had a clear visual guide that helped me fix it, with a photo of a misaligned holder making the issue clear. I think everything seems durable in general, but the design of the mount here could be a little more robust.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well-designed the app is- many smart home apps are clunky, but this one is pretty nice and helpful. Before using the vacuum, I checked for firmware updates. Everything needed one, but the process was quick (under 3 minutes total). The only minor gripe? The battery firmware update progressed in 20% increments, requiring a bit of patience.
First Cleaning & Mapping Experience
As a first-time robot vacuum owner, I was entertained watching it map my home. I made a rookie mistake, though: standing in a doorway like a human wall, which blocked the robot from scanning that room. It eventually discovered the missing space after a couple cleaning cycles, and now the map is complete.
The vacuum handles obstacles well- avoiding most cables and furniture- but in areas with too many thin wires, it can get tangled or knock things over. Luckily, the app lets you set no-go zones, so I blocked off problem areas (including the toilet- because gross).
One Minor Issue: Threshold Troubles
The only real hiccup I’ve encountered is my kitchen threshold, which is slightly too high. The previous owners had carpet in the dining room, so the transition is steeper than needed for hard floors. Sometimes the robot clears it easily; other times it struggles or gives up. A firmware update that helps it remember tricky spots would be great, but in the meantime, I’ll probably replace the threshold with a gentler ramp.
Overall, I’m really happy with this vacuum. The app is excellent, the mapping works well once fully scanned, and the handheld vacuum is a handy bonus. If you’re new to robot vacuums, expect a slight learning curve- but once everything’s set up, it’s a great little cleaning helper. My wife still thinks she does a better job, but she's not sad that there's a lot less work to do lol.

I’m really satisfied with this product overall. First off, its handheld design is super convenient – it can deal with tight corners or even clean your car interiors with ease; it’s like a lifesaver for daily chores. Also, the robot vacuum part is pretty small and agile, so it sucks up dust and crumbs on the floor really well and saves you tons of cleaning time.
One thing to note is that if you got long-pile carpets, the suction might not be as effective, so it may not clean them completely. If most of your floor is long carpet, you might wanna use another cleaning method alongside. I’ve been testing the K10 Plus Pro for a couple of months and I’m genuinely impressed by how much power and precision SwitchBot fit into such a small frame. It gets under kitchen chairs, between furniture legs, and into tight corners that larger robots miss.
Even on max suction it’s very quiet, often running just a few feet away while I’m on a call. The auto-empty base works smoothly, and I like the two interchangeable roller brushes. One long brush for floors and entryways, and a shorter one that I keep just for furniture and bedding. Great for keeping my puppy’s toy crumbs off the couch without bringing in “outside dirt.”
I’d been waiting to post this review until my Switchbot S10 (“Roberta”) The larger floor cleaning robot vacuum and mop replacement arrived which switchbot had me send in for an exchange due to a small problem so I could show both bots working together from their smart garages. Unfortunately, after nearly two months I’m still waiting for an update on that exchange.
That said, the K10 Plus Pro itself has been excellent—quiet, capable, and perfect for tighter spaces. Once I have both running side by side, I’ll update with photos and video of the duo in action!
PS That is an American dime on top of the robot in the center for size reference.

I've been wanting to get a robot vacuum for a while, and after checking out a bunch of options, I finally settled on this one. Let me tell you, it does not disappoint! This thing is packed with features—it comes with different brush heads that handle all kinds of cleaning situations, and they're super easy to swap out. Even though the vacuum itself is lightweight, it doesn’t skimp on cleaning power. Plus, it’s compact, so it doesn’t take up much space at all. Since I got it, it’s saved me so much time on daily cleaning. Honestly, I can’t recommend this enough!

It's everything you need.
This is the best purchase I could have done. My house is small, so the regular robots are way too big. This one is just perfect for my home. It's smart, powerful, doesn't bump into things, is compact but without compromising power. It also looks elegant, sleek and expensive, so I don't mind seeing the station at all. It has become the thing I show off when people come over!
The best part is that I can finally get rid of my regular vacuum which was taking a lot of space and was very heavy and hard to handle in my narrow home, because the hand vacuum included picks up absolutely everything. I cleaned my dog sofa with it, see videos, and it left it sparkling. Didn't struggle at all picking up small hairs, long hairs and fluff, and it wasn't even on high power mode!
It comes with three extra attachments and they all work amazing for sofas, corners, car, etc. Brushes as super soft as well, so removing any caught heairs there is super easy.
The empty station is also amazing. It sucked every single hair without leaving any tangled inside the handheld vacuum. The same with the robot vacuum. The one I had before left stuff stuck to the back of the robot when emptying and ended up with a tail of hairs and dust around the house.
The app is great, it connected at the first try and, after an update, it was ready to start cleaning in less than 5 minutes. It has a very sleek and elegant UI and it's very easy to use and find every single adjustment.
The app also lets you set a function where the robot detects carpet in the house and changes modes for deep carpet cleaning, which my previous model was lacking and was leaving threads and stuff that was in the carpet. This one picks up absolutely everything.
I am extremely happy with this purchase! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I’ve had this product for over a week now, and I have to say, I’m impressed! The instruction manual is very detailed and easy to follow so setup was quick and straightforward. It’s stylish, doesn’t take up too much space, and offers strong suction power that’s perfect for regular cleaning. The robot vacuum works great on both carpets and hard floors, and it can even reach tricky spots like under cabinets. Plus, it’s quiet enough that my cats don’t mind the sound at all. The handheld vacuum is lightweight and comes with various vacuum heads for cleaning different surfaces. So far, I’ve used it on the sofa, bean chair, in my car, and it’s been highly effective. I think it’s definitely worth the price!

Switchbot stavolta ha veramente realizzato un prodotto "completo" ed intelligente.
Robot e aspiratore manuale (non riesco a chiamarla "scopa elettrica"…) che condividono un punto di raccolta AUTOMATICO con ampia capacità di contenimento, in modo da evitare di invertire i ruoli e non rendervi schiavi del mantenimento. Il tutto in una stazione ben realizzata, solida ed anche piacevole a vedersi.
L'ottimizzazione degli spazi inizia dal cartone con cui arriva il prodotto, che è ovviamente un po' ingombrante, ma lo spazio all'interno è veramente ottimizzato al massimo, senza tralasciare la protezione del contenuto che, con il trasporto, potrebbe danneggiarsi.
L'ottimizzazione prosegue poi con la base che serve a "stazione di svuotamento" automatico sia per il robot che per l'aspiratore manuale. In un unico contenitore troverete quindi, ogni 2 o 3 mesi, allo svuotamento del sacco, il contenuto di quanto aspirato da entrambi.
Nel mio caso non è stato difficile posizionare la stazione, poiché già avevo un robot SwitchBot K10+ Pro, di cui sono contentissimo. Volevo però dismettere un aspiratore manuale (quello famosissimo, per capirci), per guadagnare spazio utile.
E' vero: il prezzo di acquisto potrebbe frenarvi nella scelta, ma vi assicuro che vi darà soddisfazione appena inizierete ad usarlo, e la soddisfazione aumenterà ogni giorno di più.
Aprendo la confezione troverete solo i componenti ed imballo interamente in cartone, con un occhio di riguardo alla sostenibilità. Manuali in varie lingue, tra le quali l'italiano.
Allestimento del tutto molto semplice, seguendo istruzioni e figure. Componenti quasi tutti ad incastro, con plastiche dall'aspetto solito e di qualità. Solo 4 viti da avvitare, col cacciavite incluso nella confezione.
Solo alcune piccole mancanze nei manuali:
– mancano le indicazioni su dove vada montato un piccolo tubo semitrasparente presente nella confezione, ma non è difficile intuirlo,
– non viene illustrato dove debba andare posizionata la batteria dell'aspiratore manuale, ma anche qui lo si capisce poi facilmente… (ed e' un bene che sia sostituibile !!!),
– in Switchbot si ostinano ad usare traduttori automatici, non solo per i messaggi vocali del robot (quando inizia dice "Suona", invece di "Avvio"), ma anche nel manuale, pertanto "Cleaner Holder" diviene per qualche strano motivo "Portasugo" (vedi foto…)
Mi auguro che possano rimediare quanto prima…
Il settaggio alla prima accensione è molto semplice, aiutata dal Bluetooth BLE per il rilevamento delle unità (sono in tutto 3: robot, scopa, ed unità aspirante), che immediatamente segnalano la presenza di aggiornamenti.
Ma li si completa nell'arco di qualche minuto.
Il robot di questa versione COMBO è leggermente diverso dalla versione normale (differiscono "meccanicamente" nei punti di allineamento con le proprie basi), per il resto, esteticamente sono identici, anche come dimensioni (molto ridotte), che lo rende ideale per raggiungere posti che altri prodotti non raggiungono.
La porzione di app di SwitchBot per gestire il Combo è diversa da quella del robot singolo (sempre all'interno della stessa app): la procedura di mappatura degli ambienti è molto più veloce ed i movimenti del robot hanno una logica molto più concreta e precisa, con traiettorie ottimizzate e di precisione millimetrica.
Il robot all'opera è un portento: sa gestire piccoli dislivelli di pavimento in autonomia (tuttavia, se segnalati tramite app, farà anche meglio) e sa riconoscere i "vuoti" maggiori di 1 cm (fate comunque attenzione e costruite un muro virtuale nell'app, per sicurezza).
Onestamente si è un pò incapponito con l'anta a specchio di un armadio: credeva ci fosse un'altra stanza e per 5 minuti buoni ha tentato invano di entrarci, riprovando in ogni singolo centimetro… Poi ha finalmente desistito… 😀
La scopa invece si è guadagnata subito le preferenze di tutta la casa: leggera, maneggevole, con la testa che gira di 90° a destra ed a sinistra in un baleno, con il LED verde anteriore per individuare meglio dove intervenire, ma soprattutto si svuota da sola rimponendola sulla base, assieme al robot.
Il sacco della base si può svuotare veramente dopo qualche mese, a seconda di quanto sporco viene raccolto, ma è molto capiente.
L'app ricorda di pulire i sensori o i filtri, o di cambiare le spazzole al raggiungimento delle ore di lavoro predefinite, ma anche qui potrebbe essere un po' soggettivo (pero' e' comodo che ne tenga traccia).
Nella confezione c'è anche un pacco di panni umidificati da applicare al robot per quando si desidera che pulisca i pavimenti, oltre ad aspirarli, con la funzione "mopping". Tuttavia, avendo molti tappeti, non ho mai usato e non credo userò mai questa funzione, che però potrebbe risultare utile ad altri utenti.
In dotazione alla scopa tre comode spazzole per i vari utilizzi quali l'aspirazione dell'auto, di angoli difficili da raggiungere, di arredi con tessuto come divani ed altri rivestimenti. Ed un comodo porta accessori da applicare al muro o installare dove vi risulterà più comodo.
Uno sguardo infine all'app di gestione: disponibile l'integrazione con i vari assistenti vocali comunemente diffusi, possibilità di definire muri virtuali per definire con precisione dove far operare il robot, possibilità di definire aree con tappeti, per un'aspirazione più efficace, programmazioni orarie, giornaliere, settimanali per soddisfare ogni esigenza, messaggi vocali che avvisano di cosa il robot si accinge a fare, etc… Non manca proprio nulla.
Considerazioni sul costo del COMBO: il robot da solo vale già i soldi del kit, perché è veramente minuscolo e raggiunge aree che altri prodotti non riescono. Se a questo aggiungiamo che anche l'aspiratore manuale beneficia dello scarico automatico di quanto raccolto e che lo svuotamento può essere fatto a distanze di tempo considerevoli, beh, raggiungiamo un livello veramente alto, tale da farlo valere ben di più di quanto spenderete per acquistarlo.
Lo considero un OTTIMO acquisto e lo consiglio vivamente: sarà l'utilizzo a convincervi di aver speso bene i vostri soldi.

Ich habe mich trotz einer relativ großen zu reinigenden Grundfläche (ca. 100 qm) für diesen Mini-Saugroboter entschieden in der Hoffnung, dass ich damit mehr Stellen / Ecken / enge Bereiche erreiche, als es mit einem durchschnittlichen großen Saugroboter möglich wäre.
Diese Hoffnung hat sich auch erfüllt. Der Saugroboter ist sehr wendig und sucht sich auch in engen Bereichen seinen Weg, beispielsweise unterm Tisch zwischen Stuhlbeinen hindurch, an Deko vorbei und in Heizkörpernischen entlang. Die geringe Größe dabei hat meiner Meinung nach wenig bis gar keinen Einfluss auf die Saugleistung. Der Motor ist stark genug, um auch auf Teppichen gründlich zu reinigen, durch seine geringe Größe fährt der Roboter höchstens ein paar Bahnen zusätzlich hin und her. Da er das jedoch meist während meiner Abwesenheit tut, stört mich das überhaupt nicht. Das einzige was bei Beobachtung etwas kritisch auffällt, ist dass der kleine Roboter relativ hart über Teppichkanten "hubbelt". Er kommt aber grundsätzlich die meisten Teppiche problemlos hoch, erst aber eine Floorlänge von mehreren Zentimetern wird das zum Problem. Auch harte Absätze (Fliesenkanten etc.) von 1 cm und teils etwas mehr hat er bei mir ohne Probleme gemeistert.
Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die App. In dieser wird der Grundriss akribisch kartografiert und es lassen sich kinderleicht Sperr-Bereiche oder solche mit erhöhtem Reinigungsbedarf festlegen. Zudem lassen sich auch unterschiedliche "Karten", beispielsweise für verschiedene Etagen festlegen, die dann vor Begin der Reinigung bequem umgeschaltet werden. Außerdem könnten auch ganz einfach nur einzelne Räume gesaugt werden oder bestimmte Bereiche. Das ganze ist wirklich sehr intuitiv umgesetzt.
Der zusätzliche Handstaubsauger sorgt zwar dafür, dass die Station sehr groß und klobig wird, ist allerdings unheimlich praktisch und hat auch richtig viel Leistung! Er wird, genau wie der Roboter, nach Benutzung von der Station automatisch abgesaugt und muss nicht geleert werden.

– – – Bei sehr hochflorigen Teppichen stößt der Roboter irgendwann an seine Grenzen und stoppt die Reinigung. Solche Teppiche sollten vor der Reinigung einfach weggenommen werden und können anschließend wieder hingelegt werden.
– – – Bodentiefe Spiegel werden vom Lidar-Radar manchmal nicht als solche erfasst. Der Roboter denkt dann, der Raum geht hinter dem Spiegel weiter. Das verwirrt den Roboter teilweise stark. Hier kann aber über die App Abhilfe geschaffen werden, indem eine "virtuelle Wand" errichtet wird.
FAZIT:
Sehr innovativer kleine Saugroboter inkl. Handstaubsauger, der das Leben wirklich erleichtert und Preislich sein Geld absolut wert. Kaufempfehlung!
