Bad:
– [UPDATE 2025-08]: Purchased in 2025-05. It worked well until 2025-08. Upon connection, it would tell the computer that the Windows key is always pressed. Even after disconnecting, this problem would persist with other keyboards, even the on-screen keyboard. This problem occurred on multiple devices as well (computers and phones). My guess is the keyboard firmware would send malformed data packets on connection.
– Fn Lock incomplete: F1–F3 always control device switching (Dongle, BT1, BT2), even with Fn Lock enabled. They can’t be used as normal function keys without holding Fn. F2 especially is common with spreadsheets or renaming file or variable names. Fn Lock should apply to these keys.
– Power switch: Manual toggle on the side. Would prefer auto power-off when folded, though this may be a cost tradeoff.
– Mouse: Feels cheap, but works fine.
Good:
– Rare feature set: At this price, Few folding keyboards with angled keys offer a full function row. Major selling point.
– Hidden combos: Home, End, PgUp, PgDn accessible via Fn+arrow keys (unlabeled).
– 4-key rollover *per side*: Not full N-key rollover, but split design means 4KRO left + 4KRO right. For typists at +140 wpm and certain niche gaming, this might probably close enough to NKRO to be a selling point. For 99% of users (including myself), this doesn't matter at all.
– Key feel: Large keys, good vertical travel.
– Build quality: Slightly cheap feel, but overall well-made for the price. I've used many ~$50 keyboards—this one is the best so far on initial impression at least.
– Bluetooth dongle: New linux installs will have a way to detect your keyboard immediately.
Verdict: Worth it because the market lacks competitors at this price with function keys. I may return for a slightly more expensive QMK keyboard.
