I’ve been looking for the perfect portable projector for awhile here. This one checks all my boxes.. really bright, the 4k is so crisp and the sound is incredible!!! Holy smokes the sound is great from such a little projector. I’ll also say the automatic focus and picture adjust is blazing fast.. like less than a second most times. For a projector that is in this smaller portable form factor it’s truly a bargain. 5/5 stars for sure.
**One Month Update** I’m still so happy with this projector. I actually did a side by side comparison of the new Valerion Pro. I was impressed this unit that’s portable and half the price actually looked good side by side. If you need something smaller and portable you really can’t beat this projector in my opinion.

This projector is a really out of my expectation. I used it on the wall in my living room, and I’m very impressed. The picture is clear and sharp, and the colors are vivid, even with lights on. It really feels like watching in a mini cinema at home.
The auto focus and auto shape calibration work very smoothly and accurately. Whenever you move the position of the projector, in a few seconds, everything was perfectly adjusted by itself. The menu response is also very fast—actually faster than my 75” smart TV I bought last year.
Sound is also great for a small projector. I use it without any extra speakers in the living room. It’s loud and clear with just about the right amount of bass.
The design is slim and modern, and it’s super easy to move around. Google TV is already built in, so I can open Netflix, YouTube, and more with no problem. The integration with Google TV is great. You basically don’t need to set up for the projector. All you need to do is just login using Google account and register the device by following the instructions. Pretty straightforward.
Very happy with this purchase! With this discount, definitely worth the money.

Experience with JMGO:
My first order of the JMGO N1S 4K was, according to JMGO, the first version of their product and had awful light spill (this is light that's beyond the border of the image and looks like a halo of light). This was already quite disappointing since it's frustrating that they would continue to sell the old version when a newer version is available. They told me to return the old one and re-order (no guarantee of getting the newer version. Luckily, I did receive the newer version which basically covers the lower part of the lens to reduce the light spill. Unfortunately the light spill was still visible with the newer version.
While the projector has great image quality, this light spill completely removes you from the experience, especially when you're watching a darker scene and all you can see is a line visible underneath the image. The product page also blatantly claims that the rainbow effect is resolved but it is not, it is quite visible as another reviewer has mentioned in another review on amazon. I am not sensitive to it and own other DLP projectors but the N1S 4K really has it in a bad way.
JMGO claimed to me that they are a small business which is also not true, they are a large player in the projector space. Overall my experience with JMGO has been less than stellar, and while the projector has a nice image, it is marred by strong rainbow effect, strong dithering (this looks like red laser ants running across the screen), and terrible light spill even in the newer upgraded unit. Considering all of this, I would not want to deal with JMGO in case I need to use their warranty and I would recommend another brand.
UPDATE: New unit also has light spill despite their updated version. Also if you plan on returning this, be prepared to wait for a month to get your money back since this has to be returned to the US and has to go through customs clearance which could take a very long time. Currently waiting on two refunds both stuck at clearance.
