I work for a small company that utilizes USB hubs on Point of Sale units we build out, and we were having issues with failures from a different USB hub, so we sourced one of these for reliability testing. We mount these to the side of a MinisForum mini PC, so dimensions were constrained, and this fit the sizes we needed. I was hoping we were going to get to test more of these in the wild, but the company has moved on to a more all-in-one point of sale and I don't know that we're going to be able to expand testing on these much.
I haven't been able to go so far as a lab may test these, but with our sample size of 1, this hub has held up well. It's pretty standard, no glamor work this piece does, but it's been put through pretty standard use and I haven't had a single failure out of it either.
I've become a fan of Pluggable's products thus far. I also have a different job working in a construction office where I did our LAN build out, and now that laptops are coming pretty standard without ethernet jacks because "Why would we have options? We have wireless!," we had to order 5 ethernet to USB adapters, and went with Pluggable for those, and those have all been rock solid and in use for several years now as well.
Pluggable has my approval right up there for reliability with any Anker or Belkin product I've used as well. They build a good product in my experience.
