Great adapter, USB PD input.

Great adapter, USB PD input.
Works well for dual displays and with PD input this are great for AR and VR glasses / Headsets. This adapter solved a simple problem for me. I needed to run dual monitors from a laptop with only a USB C port, and I wanted something small that I could throw in my bag without carrying a full docking station. This one worked right away with both of my 4K displays at 60 Hz, and I have not run into any flickering or handshake issues. The picture is sharp, and it wakes up from sleep without needing to unplug and reconnect, which has happened to me with cheaper hubs. Audio quality is not affected and works great. I also tested the USB port and the pass-through power. Both worked as expected. I was able to keep my accessories connected while charging my laptop from the same port, and it stayed stable the entire time. The adapter does get slightly warm when I have everything running, but nothing out of the ordinary for a hub pushing two displays. I like that it is compact and does not take up extra desk space since I move between home and office often. If you want a straightforward dual-HDMI USB C solution that just works, this has been a good experience so far. I am happy with it and plan to keep it in my travel setup. It’s lightweight, small, and easy to use.

    The unit I received was completely unusable. My monitory it was connected to would flicker on and off constantly and was impossible to use with this adapter. Once I borrowed my friend's adapter it worked fine, so it is certainly an issue with this item. I would avoid!

    I also tested HDMI output to my Sony MASTER Series AG9 TV, streaming 4K video without a hiccup. Playback was smooth, no stuttering or lag, and audio passed through cleanly.     This dual HDMI adaptor from Acer is a quality well made unit as you would expect of a well known brand. The housing is aluminium and the cable braided so I have no concerns over this devices longevity.

    Beyond the two HDMI ports there is also a USB-C PD port which is exclusively for providing power the the connected laptop which can be a very useful function if using a laptop like mine which is USB-C powered and only has two ports. The USB-A data port is an interesting addition, it is helpful if your laptop also doesn't have any USB-A ports but if a USB hub is really what you're after there are more complete options available.

    Installation is obviously incredibly simple as this is plug and play with Windows so no additional drivers are required. As with all similar devices although this technically works with macs both external screens can only display the same image so pretty pointless.

    Priced at just over £21 (£25 with 15% voucher) at time of review this is fair value given the quality of the device.

    Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Dual-HDMI-Adapter, um meinen Arbeitsplatz mit zwei größeren Monitoren zu erweitern und die Produktivität zu steigern. Der Acer USB-C auf Dual HDMI Adapter hat meine Erwartungen nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen.

    Design & Funktionalität:
    Der Adapter besticht durch sein schickes, graues Aluminium-Gehäuse, das optisch perfekt zu modernen Laptops passt. Er ist kompakt und robust verarbeitet. Mit zwei HDMI-Anschlüssen, einem 100W Power-Delivery (PD) Anschluss zur Stromversorgung des Laptops und einem zusätzlichen USB 3.0 Port ist er ein echtes 4-in-1-Multitalent.

    Die Lösung für mein Kabelchaos:
