    The device works…mostly. It does get hot as others have stated. I have had no issues passing video to my second monitor. Passing audio I did note the quality took a heavy drop. When used with a Keyboard or mouse I noticed skips in my typing and jumping on the mouse. I do a lot of typing with my work (coding) and having it skip letters is a bad thing. Hooked the keyboard up directly to my laptop and no issues. Otherwise, it works just not greate.
