    Good for World of Warcraft

    I purchased this PC just before Christmas almost solely for playing WOW Classic. The PC was very quick and capable of running Warcraft as well as some background stuff. A few days in I experienced a crash and then showed hard drive faults. After a hard drive scan and repair, I showed no faults but still had freezing and crashing issues.
    I contacted the company and was immediately issued a new PC and a label to return the faulty device. The new PC runs perfectly and the the quality seems to be very good. I may actually upgrade at a later point and give my daughter this PC. Would definitely buy again.

    Price and Warranty

    Price competitive very good warranty (90 says return , and two years manufacturer's warranty ( please note this is not insurance for theft of drops and spills, or any such damage caused by the owner).

    Funtionality

    It is mind – boggling silent. It feels very sturdy and the specs makes it not a sloucher. I am not a gamer tough, so I cant speak to this. But I do see software features that facilates gaming.

    It is higher than the laptop I had before. This means it is higher off the surface that it rests on. Whether this is a good or bad thing is a matter of choice. However this certainly has allowed more ventilation at the bottom of the computer because of the rubber stand which hoist or prvent the computer from laying too close tothe surface.

    Battery is reasonable. For me it does not deplete too quickly and also it take very long hours to deplete. I think battery will depend on the user. And there is the option of tweaking the battery saving features too. One caveat though: The battery is not sure of the hours that are left before depletion. This moment it will give a reading of 2 hours until empty and just a few minutes after it says 4 hours left. This is kind of annoying.

    Heating? Not over the top. It is normal.

    On a personal note: The inner box that the computer came in was not sealed. The silver seal was not pasted down any any at all, but was up. It seems like someone forgot to just paste it down. I never liked this. But I want to think it was an oversight. I like to burst the seal myself on a new product. In anycase I could not be bothered with the hassle for that matter.

    This oversight was absolved. I was encouraged to find out the generic letter from the President of Nimo. I could not make out the name but it seems like Frank … I think thename should be written out and then the signature above it. Not an issue but just saying. But also, just by reading that letter speaks to unrivalled commitment to excellent customer service.

    For me it is just one of those products I buy and I feel connected with it. I had just bought a brand name laptop a few weeks ago and for more money, and within the same day but waited a week I had to return it. I just could not connect with it ( No chemistry) besides the other issues. They would have replaced it but I declined. If it was Nimo I would have allowed a replacement.

    For me, I do not think you can go wrong with this computer. It is value for money! and better, or just as good than others that are sold for more. I love it. Nimo is my subtle luxury brand and I will most certainly be purchasing another one soon as a gift for a someone.

    Not bad, but does have problems

    I've been using this laptop for a few months now, and note the following:

    Pros:
    1. Very affordable for the specs that you get.
    2. Decent battery life.
    3. Generally works well, good RAM, CPU, storage space etc.

    Cons:
    1. Frequent blue screens and crashes – while this can't be attributed to a specific component, it does suggest that the components, while high-spec, are cheaply made, and prone to causing crashes.
    2. The track pad is low quality, but not a concern since I use a mouse.
    3. The fn lock turns on by default, so each time I turn on the laptop, I need to unlock it. I see no option in the BIOS to change this.
    4. The Wifi card works, but is on the lower end. I sometimes need to restart my laptop to get the wifi to work again.
    5. The power button is low quality, as I need to push down very hard for it to register to turn on.

    Overall, I don't regret buying it because it was cheap (considering the features), and you can't expect high quality from cheap items. It's also not a well established brand like Dell, HP, Asus etc. so one can't hold it to the same level of standards. I have no right to complain, but this should be taken into account when making a purchase decision.

    I am a bit harsh to give it 1 star, realistically it deserves 3 stars, however I only give 1 or 5 stars for reviews.

    This is a great little computer for anyone who doesn't need to do any heavy computing. However, it tends to overheat if you do a lot of multitasking. I use both Edge and Chrome browsers with multiple tabs open and link to my desktop using Distant Desktop where I usually also have two browsers open along with Outlook. This laptop would come to a crawl and overheat. I checked with the manufacturer and was told that the N151 model is the only laptop they make that doesn't contain a fan. I really love all the other features and decided to return this model and exchange it for one or their other models. I expect that a fan is all this needs to be a great and reliable laptop.
