Easy to install, even for a first-timer!
I installed this multi-stage thermostat myself, and it was my very first time doing something like this — and it went great! The instructions were clear, and everything connected smoothly without any issues. The large, super clear display is easy to read, and the white backlight looks clean and modern. It works perfectly with my 2 heat/2 cool system, and the controls are simple to use. I’m really happy with how it turned out. This is a great option if you want a thermostat that looks good and is easy to set up on your own. Highly recommend!

    Is it not programable. Just make sure you are aware of this before ordering. We should have gone with a programable one. Other that that it works great. 4 stars because of our error in not realizing it was not programable.

    Works great! Very easy to install and the temperature reading is accurate. The display is a lot larger than the thermostat I previously owned, so I'm very happy the read out is clear and the LED is bright. Instructions were precise.

    I really like that this has such big numbers on the display. Also backlit. Super easy install. The issue is that I noticed the a/c wasn't turning off. The temperature of the room was reading 78 according to this. Another thermometer in the same room was reading 71. Maybe just a faulty unit. We just have a small, simple house with a basic furnace and a/c set up. No WiFi. Just on. Off. Heat. Cool. I ordered a different one which is a reputable brand with great reviews. Should arrive today.

    I ordered this thermostat to replace my older one which is starting to show signs of age. The display on this new one is larger and brighter than my old one which is important for us "older folk" who have trouble reading small and/or dim displays. It was easy to wire to my furnace, and it works perfectly as expected for both heating and cooling functions.

    Simple to set up, but not much room for all the wires if you don't have room inside your wall.

    This is a nice BIG SCREEN, easy to use thermostat that I installed for my parents, who are “too old to learn new tricks.” This replaced a non-digital thermostat that was impossible to set due to a poorly designed analog slider – a one mm move would make a 3-4 degree change. This one is much better with a big digital display and a simple up and down button system.

    The install was easy enough, but there was no room in the wall to put any extra wires, so it was quite difficult to get the cover on after wiring it up, due to the fact that less than a half cm. of space between the base plate and the front of the inside pocket for the face plate seems to exist. I didn’t want to cut the available wires any shorter for future possible needs.

    Aside from that issue, this was straightforward and seems to work well. The thermometer seems accurate (at least in the mid 70s range, which is where the house was when I installed this). If any issues arise, I’ll update this review.

    This is a bare bones thermostat which I obtained for my home. This multi-stage thermostat (2 Heat/2 Cool) is marketed to those consumers who want a reliable and easy to operate thermostat. The display is large and clear and the straight forward controls are easy to operate.

    It does not have any programmable options but it’s a good choice for those who want a clear display and simple controls without smart features. It maintains accurate temperatures and works well in my home. So far I have not tried the heat pump as it’s 93 degrees outside. Overall a good value for a simple thermostat which I hopes is dependable in the long run.
