This is actually worth the price, there is nothing you can't plug into it. I have all the ports filled and a 2k monitor on the side through it. And midi through it. Doesn't bug the midi out is the biggest thing. Its the now center piece of my setup. Have used it about a 100 different ways and times this past few days .

    I needed a docking station that I could use with both my desktop PC and have the ability to use my work laptop on the same screens instead of constantly unplugging HDMI cables to us both screens, and this docking station was the answer! I’ve been using this docking station for over a month now, and it’s been fantastic. Setup was basically plug-and-play and I didn't need any special drivers. It instantly allowed my laptop to connect and let me run multiple monitors and peripherals through a single cable on the USB-C port, I did have to change around some screen resolutions but that wasn't a big deal. I really like the port selection, I'm able to use a display port or HDMI cable and I can use the extra ports to charge my phone and setup a secondary keyboard and mouse. The power supply is excellent, it provides enough power to charge the laptop and keep things running so no worries about breaking out the charger when I'm working. I have a Dell docking station at work and it's always so finicky, for instance the screens will flicker or I will get messages that the power cord is incompatible when it's the same cord that came with the laptop, I also found the USB-C on the Dell to be super sensitive I had to tape it to the laptop otherwise it would lose connection, that's not the case with this docking station works great. Overall, this docking station is reliable, well-built (feels premium) and features a nice selection of options to enhance the work from home experience.

    Only works with short cords

    Update: this ONLY works with a short cord (3-4ft max). Anything longer and it glitches out like crazy. Which means you may have to rework your entire setup to get this to reach the laptop.

    Unfortunately, after some use I've hit the same issue with this….it does not have the power capacity to handle periphrials AND power the laptop. So the monitors start flickering as soon as you hit any high use (video call, etc). Even with only one monitor plugged in and no periphrials other than ethernet and a keyboard and mouse, this can't power the laptop and run a single standard monitor. Since my laptop only has one USBc powered port, I can't also plug in my laptop brick and use this docking station. Quite a sad state to be back at square one. (Yes, i've tried new cables, updating drivers, etc…everything)

    Purchased this for my office at work to get away from my tower computer and onto my laptop.

    This handles three (older) displays without issue, Mouse dongle, keyboard, and laptop charging; plus an external SSD, albeit slightly slower. I can't complain.

    One cable to connect or disconnect is a game changer when i need to do physical data acquisition, and then compilation with the dock and multiple displays.

    I'll be purchasing another for at home for a home workstation. review will be updated.
