Very convenient and great for shared rooms!

5 out of 5 stars

Very convenient and great for shared rooms!
These things are great! My kids share a room and the older one likes to stay up on the weekend watching tv so she puts these on and is able to watch and listen without disturbing the younger one. They were easy to hook up. We have an older tv. We tried using the optical cable at first but it’s just easier to use the AV cables to connect. Good value for money and easier to use and a better fit than giant headphones.

These would get a 5 star rating if the charging station did not have to be so close to the television. I use these at night so I don’t keep my husband awake. When I’m done I turn them off and put them on the nightstand. The next morning they are “dead” and have to be put on the charger. If I get up at night to put them on the charger, I wake up my husband which is the whole point of using them. If they connected by Bluetooth then the charging port could be across the room from the television.

Holy cow! I received these ear buds and transmitter five minutes ago. With a quick glance at the abbreviated instructions my set is now installed and I’m listening to a TV program while I clean house. (There are more detailed instructions included, but it’s so easy you probably don’t need them.) It would be more convenient if the bud charging case was separate from the transmitter, but that’s not a major concern for me.

Battery life on these is about four hours at best. Also at times it sounds gets louder for a few seconds then goes back to normal. Would be nice if it came with a second charger so you could at least use one ear bud while charging the other one close by you rather than it being right under the tv.

I decide to give a try to this product so we both can be accommodated with our needs and he loves it ! Works perfectly it's a huge success! Must have it!

    Domestic Peace!

Reviewed in Canada on March 2, 2025

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

My husband has a severe hearing loss. That means turning up the television so he can listen. I find the level deafening. This transmitter offers domestic peace.

The setup was simple for him. The transmitter comes with several cables (3.5mm auxiliary, 3.5mm jack to two RCA connectors or optical). Plug one end into the source and the other into the transmitter. Then plug in the transmitter power cable (USB to USB-C) into the supplied 5 volt charger and you’re in business.

You may choose to use an audio output on your television. My husband plugged the optical cable into a digital box and the transmitter’s optical input for best quality. That means anyone else wanting to listen can adjust the volume on the television to their needs. The auxiliary cable is also available but the manufacturers suggest using only one cable at a time.

A word of caution. This is NOT a Bluetooth device. It won’t work without a connecting cable to an audio or video source. The earbuds work only with the transmitter and vice versa.

So what if you want to stream audio from a phone or maybe turntable? That’s where the auxiliary or RCA cables come in. Plug in one end to the source device and listen without disturbing anyone nearby. If they too want to hear the richness of vinyl music the transmitter has the answer. It has auxiliary and optical OUTputs to allow connections to headphones or speakers. You will need to get the appropriate cable(s) however.

The earbuds come with four sets of caps for most ear sizes. They have default listening mode as well as gaming and music modes. My husband says the volume and clarity are great.

The earbuds charge automatically in their cradle in the transmitter. My husband hasn’t used them for more than two hours at a time so far, so he has no idea how long they might last between charges. He’s very satisfied with their performance so far.

Quality audio for TV only. No bluetooth input. Not portable.

Reviewed in Canada on August 11, 2025

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

Firstly, these aren't Bluetooth capable. It will not, for example, pair with your phone or laptop. It will not appear in the pairing list. The 1Mii E3Pro relies on the transmitter unit that converts optical or aux inputs and sends the signal to the earbuds via 2.4GHz wireless. The transmitter unit doubles as a charging dock for the earbuds. It takes a 5V input and both a UL rated charger and USB cable is included.

As the charger lacks a built-in battery, it cannot function without the 5V input which limits its mobility. The dock is huge at roughly 4.25" x 2.25" x 2". At the back of the transmitter, it has AUX and Optical inputs as well as AUX and Optical outputs. The outputs can be used to bypass the headphones and send music to your speakers or soundbar. Much better than having to manually swap leads by hand. In the package, it comes with every cable you would need to get started.

The earbuds themselves look and feel basic. It uses glossy plastic for the body and matte coating for the multifunction buttons. The buttons aren't touch sensitive but clicky which I like. The port/nozzle has a standard 5.5mm opening which allows you to use aftermarket tips. The included stock tips sealed fairly well in my ears and I did not need to resort to doing that. What's also awesome is that the earbuds charge properly in the dock even with large aftermarket tips installed.

Sound-wise, there is surprisingly very little loss via AUX connection despite it requiring an extra analog to digital conversion + transfer via wireless. Compared to another similar product that uses Bluetooth for transmission, the 2.4GHz connection seem to provide more clarity, crispness and less compression. Bass is present and impactful. I also found treble well controlled. Mids also come through nicely on vocal centric tracks. For TV use, it is frankly great with clear dialogue and sound effects come through as well as they can for earbuds. It's clearly tuned to be multipurpose.

Note that the E3 Pros have two modes: Gaming and Music. Gaming mode should be used for TV and well.. gaming because there is significantly less delay and lag in audio. However, note that there is no mic so voice chat is out of the question. I tested this via Netflix and lips synced perfectly in this mode. Music mode does offer a slight bump in audio quality and should be used if you want to stream Spotify. Switching between the modes just require triple clicking any earbud.

Overall, the 1Mii E3Pro is a good niche product purely for parents who want to watch TV at night without disturbing the rest of the family. However, the lack of Bluetooth and battery also limits its uses.

I can now watch TV while my wife works from home.

Reviewed in Canada on April 10, 2025

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

There are perfect for anyone looking to watch TV without disturbing others around you. I got them to watch movies while my wife works as we have a small apartment and she sometimes works from home. Setup was simple and easy as I used the optical output on my cable box and simply mute my TV when using these. The sound quality is good, but definitely designed for voices and not complex music. It isn't that the quality is bad, but rather the tone is more geared towards speech. The range is more than adequate for my space, but even when I get up and walk around the audio stays connected. What is best is even if I go out of range the audio doesn't revert to the TV output as I have muted the other speakers. This prevents unwanted loud noises unintentionally.

My only complaint is these don't support HDMI audio. It would have made setup a lot easier for me, but I understand it would also add a layer of complexity.

A unique product and a solution to a unique problem.

    May or may not work

Reviewed in Canada on March 2, 2025

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

My goodness, this thing was difficult to set up and connect! I felt like giving up several times.
I found the instructions rather vague, and definitely not universal. Some of the steps for setting up the TV, my TV doesn't even have those options in the menu.
I first tried the optical cable, then the aux cable, then finally figured out (after looking through many menus in my TV settings) that my TV doesn't let me pick the audio out, so neither of those cables are ever going to work with my TV.
My last chance was the 1/8inch cable – at least they provided all the cables that might be needed to connect to the TV and I didn't have to get a cable myself. Plugging into the headphone jack on my TV immediately sent the sound through the cable to the headphone base. So it is technically working right now, meaning that the sound from the TV IS coming through the headphones…but the sound is out of sync with the picture.
There are 2 audio modes: Music mode and Game mode. I can't tell which is which.
The first setting, the audio is coming through a lot sooner, like a Godzilla reference. The audio quality is quite good, though, so if I don't actually watch the TV directly, I can't tell the sound is out of sync and the sound quality is really nice. The other setting is closer in the syncing, but is still a little bit off, just enough that I can tell it's not synced, but close enough that I really had to stare for a few minutes to figure out if the sound was faster or slower – it's still faster. The second setting, the audio quality is not the same – the mid/bass isn't as present.
So both ways, at least with my TV, I'm hearing everything early. This aspect might be ideal for gaming purposes, since lag in the sound is often a big concern, if you're responding to the sound to know where the bad guys are…
The ear buds are pretty comfortable, considering they're bigger than most ear buds I've seen and used. They haven't fallen out of my ears at all, unlike other ear buds, even with shaking my head and trying to get them to fall out.
So, potentially, these might be really great, depending on the TV and what they're being used for, but it would be hit or miss.

Update: after setting this up and testing out the headphones, and having the sound and the video not only sync up, after I stopped using the headphones I noticed that The sound coming out of my TV speakers and the video we're having the same problems. So I'm not sure if something I changed in the settings made this happen, or if it's at all related to the headphones themselves. So the problem I talked about earlier might be something that I created. But it definitely wasn't happening before I tried to set up these headphones.
