Perfect Headphones for Kids – My Nephew is Obsessed!
I bought these as a gift for my 8-year-old nephew, and he absolutely loves them! As someone who was skeptical about spending this much on kids' headphones, I'm thrilled with how well these have worked out. Noise Cancellation That Actually Works The 42dB active noise cancellation is impressive – it really does block out most background noise. My nephew uses them for online schoolwork in a busy household with younger siblings, and the difference is remarkable. He can actually focus on his lessons without constantly getting distracted by household chaos. The one-click ANC control is simple enough that he figured it out immediately. Smart Volume Safety Features What sold me initially was the 3-level volume limiting system. As an uncle, I was worried about him damaging his hearing, but these headphones give me complete peace of mind. The 74dB setting is perfect for his bedtime audiobooks, 85dB works great for his educational apps and games, and we've used the 94dB setting on car trips and flights. It's genius that parents can set appropriate limits without constantly monitoring. Battery Life is Outstanding The 60-hour battery life (42 hours with ANC) is no joke – we've gone weeks between charges! The Type-C charging is convenient, and the 1.5-hour quick charge means he's never without his headphones for long. This has been a game-changer for long car trips and flights to visit grandparents. Comfort for Extended Use He wears these for hours during virtual school sessions and never complains about discomfort. The adjustable headband fits him perfectly, and the soft foam ear pads don't leave marks or cause pressure points. The foldable design is fantastic for travel – they fit easily in his backpack without taking up much space. Crystal Clear Communication The built-in microphone has been excellent for his online classes and video calls with family. His teachers have commented on how clearly they can hear him during virtual lessons, and grandparents love that they can actually understand him during video chats. Versatile Connectivity The Bluetooth connection is stable across all his devices – iPad for school, Kindle for reading, and even connects seamlessly to our phones for music or audiobooks. No connectivity issues or dropouts, which is more than I can say for some adult headphones I've owned! Final Thoughts These headphones have genuinely improved my nephew's learning experience and given his parents peace of mind about hearing safety. The build quality feels premium, the features are thoughtfully designed for children, and the performance exceeds expectations. At first, I thought the price was steep for kids' headphones, but seeing how much he uses and loves them, plus the safety features and durability, it's been worth every penny. Highly recommend for any parent or relative looking for quality, safe headphones for children. This will likely be my go-to gift for kids in this age range from now on!

These headphones are a whole lot more than they appear. First off, I'm super impressed by the ear muffs. They are made of memory foam and are absolutely amazing on comfort. The fit of these, even for a huge head like mine are great! They will easily fit my 9yr old son. The adaptive noice cancellation works excellent for the price! I'm really impressed by how well this works. It makes it less of an issue for my son to have ANC and the loudness attenuation so there's no reason to go loud. The buttons are easy to press and have a click feel so you know you've hit them. They are light and don't feel like a lot of weight on your head.

The sound quality is what really caught me off guard. Are they a pair of Focal headphones? Nope. But i'm really impressed by both the highs and lows on these – for a pair of headphones designed for younger kids! He grabs these before he does the Beats!

He loves the two tone color and I have to admit, I'd probably pick up a pair for me if they were just a bit bigger.

These come with a small cloth carrying case, a USB C cable to charge, and an aux cable to connect to a phone or tablet (if it still has it). Other than that, the Bluetoth works great. I got a kick out of the kids voice upon powering on telling you the power status, the battery status and if it's pairing or connecting.

These noise cancelling headphones are very nice quality and super comfortable to wear. I originally got them for my daughter because she doesn't like loud noises. We have an upcoming flight, and I figured these might help her sensory issues from getting overwhelmed. I have used them numerous times myself to help me drown out the background noises while I work on my computer, listen to podcasts, etc., and don't want distractions.

The headphones are very durable, easily adjustable, and very comfortable to wear. They adjust down to fit my 6-year-old and can adjust up to easily fit myself as well, with plenty of room to spare. They are flexible, yet sturdy, and fold up nicely to store away when not in use. This makes them easy to pack away, carry in your purse, backpack, or keep at your desk, while taking up very little space.

The Bluetooth was easy to set up and it has very clear instructions with good pictures to show you how to get started and how to use them correctly. It's very simple to do, even for someone who might not be that great with technology.

The headphones have three volume level settings: 74dB, 85dB, and 94dB. For quiet environments, such as bedtime stories, you probably would want to set it to the 74dB setting and for louder environments, such as airports, stores, fairs, etc., you would want to set it to 94dB. It automatically starts at the factory setting of 85dB. What these settings do is limit the volume that the child can listen to audio so that it doesn't damage hearing. You can still use the volume up and down buttons to change the volume, but you just won't get louder than the 74dB, 85dB, or 94dB setting.

The headphones have an ANC option that you can turn on/off simply by pushing the button. A voice will come through and let you know when it's been turned on and off. This will block 85 percent of background noises so that it doesn't disrupt what's playing through your headphones. This function works really well and does block out a lot of any disrupting background noise. The only downside is that you can't use this function unless you are connected via Bluetooth to your device. You can't use it while connected via wire connection.

The headphones come with an USB-c charging cord, a cord to wire connect your headphones to your device, and a carrying bag to carry and/or store the headphones. It takes less than 2 hours to charge the headphones and depending on if the ANC mode is on or off, can last up to 60 hours on a full charge. The listening range is about 30 feet from your Bluetoothed device.

There is a built-in microphone that allows you to make video calls, Facetime, or answer your phone. Numerous times I've been connected to my phone listening to YouTube, podcasts, or audiobooks and someone has called me. I've been able to answer without having to disconnect. The sound comes through nice and clear, and they have no trouble hearing my voice clearly. The sound quality on these headphones is really nice, and I've not had any problems with losing connection or cutting out. They really do have a nice sound quality whether you're listening to music, playing games, making video calls, or phone calls. Everything is crisp, clear, and continuous.

The only reason I didn't rate these a full 5 stars is because I thought that these could be used with the ANC mode without having to connect to a device, but that isn't the case. I was wanting something my daughter could just wear to cancel out noises, without having to necessarily listen to music, games, etc. She is on the spectrum and HATES public restrooms or any place that has too many stimulating sounds. I thought these could help drown out those loud noises and not stress her out. However, the few times that I've tried using these with just the ANC mode on and not connected to anything, they just automatically shut off after a couple of minutes. My husband has a pair that cancels background noises without having to listen or connect to anything, and I thought that these could do the same, but it does not. However, the headphones are padded and cushioned enough that it still muffles SOME of the loud noises for her without being connected. If there is a way to use the ANC mode without connecting, then I haven't figured out how and it doesn't say anywhere in the instructions.

Overall, these are really nice quality headphones that are durable, comfortable, and offer protection from damaging volume levels. The ANC mode helps reduce up to 85 percent of disrupting background noises but needs to be connected via Bluetooth to use. At the time of this review, the headphones are $39.99, and I think that is a reasonable price for the quality of the headphones, sound, functions, and the comfort of the headphones.

Excellent budget headphones if ANC isn't too important for you/kids

I'm a bit of an audiophile so I have quite a bit of experience with premium audio headphones and earbuds that provide extremely good sound quality – but I will not be comparing these headphones to them, due to the obvious price disparity.

When taking into account the fact that these are very affordable, and are made for kids, I can right from the get go say that these are excellent headphones for the target customer base. They seem really well made, and feel great and comfortable on the head/ears. The sound quality is good as well, although I would have loved to be able to adjust the sound through an EQ, which I don't believe is possible.

One point of critical note is that the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is not very good on these. They still work, and are activated with a single press of a button on the side of the headphones, and I think for headphones at this price level, they do a pretty good job at drowning out light background humming noise, which I think should be great on airplanes, car rides. But don't expect miracles in terms of blocking out the sound of people talking, etc.

I really appreciate these headphones not being very loud at max volume. I don't have to worry about the kids damaging their hearing over time. The 3.5mm port and cable will allow this to be used wired, which will especially be useful on airplane rides when you need to connect to the flights own entertainment system.

The battery life is also very good on these – over 40 hours with ANC active! So with ANC turned off, you should be able to get 55-60 hours. You charge these via a USB C cable.

Overall, these are excellent kid headphones at this price point, providing plenty of features to futureproof for the near future.

    Very impressive considering the price

I got these headphones for my 6 year old son so he could listen to music or play games on his tablet. Of course these headphones don’t have the build quality of my Focal headphones but they cost significantly less. To have a pair of wireless headphones with active noise cancellation for 28$ CAD (at the time of this review) is beyond comprehension. I tested them before giving them to my son. I first paired them on the TV in the living room. Pairing was as straightforward as with any other Bluetooth headphones I’ve tried. First thing I played was some of my reference tracks that I test my high-end gear on. One thing I noticed out of the box is that the sound quality is better with ANC turned on. When ANC is off, there’s a noticeable driver imbalance where as the right driver as boomier bass and output level is slightly higher. This imbalance completely disappears with ANC enabled.

Speaking of ANC, it’s okay. I doubt the claim that the manufacturer makes about a 27dB noise reduction. Even a best wireless headphones on the market struggle to achieve such performance. One thing that is annoying is that the ANC is turned off by default each time you power on the headphones. I haven’t found a way to make ANC ON the default startup startup choice. With ANC ON, my mini split fan noise was noticeably quieter.

Sound quality is also pretty decent, again considering the price point of these headphones. There’s a slight bump in the bass region. Surprisingly, they are able to deliver some sub-bass frequencies. Mids are a little recessed making the vocals sound a bit further than they should. The high frequencies are present and I didn’t noticed any sibiliance.

The volume limiter is a great feature for kids, in order to protect their fragile hearing. There are 3 different settings for the limiter: 74dB, 85dB and 94dB. I set them at 74dB for my kid as this is plenty loud, especially with ANC enabled.

You can use these headphones with the provided 3.5mm jack cable, but ANC will not be available when using it as they’ll work in passive mode.

Comfort wise, the pads don’t have the thickest foam out there, but it’s still comfortable. The cups are too small for my adult head, but they fit my son’s like a glove.

The manufacturer claims a 42h runtime with ANC On and 60h with ANC Off. I haven’t tested this claim but will update the review if it doesn’t meet these expectations.

Even though it’s far from perfect, it’s a very impressive product for 28$ and it will please any kids for sure! For this reason, I can’t review this product with any other score than a 5-star.

Cute colourful wireless headphones for kids

Got these headphones for my kids ranging from 5 to 9 years old so that he can use them both at school ( they have activities & videos that they watch in class on their tablets) and also at home when he's watching TV or on his tablet. Having several kids who all want to watch or play different games on their tablets can really fast become a symphony of sounds around our house so it's nice when they use headphones now. Also nice to have these when we are in the car. These Seenda ones have several nice features I like, first they are wireless and they connected easily via Bluetooth. Since they are made for kids they have a safe volume feature so the kids won't blast the sound too loud into their ears. They fit nicely on both my boys & my girl.
They have decent padding and my kids are satisfied with the comfort when wearing them. Battery life is pretty good and I like that it uses USB-C connection for charging, the included USB-C cable is on the other hand a little short but it's easy to replace with any existing USB-C cable you already have.
The buttons are easy to use for my kids. The sound cancelling is okay, nothing like premium headphones but okay for kids headphones that are sub 30$. The sound quality is also okay, again very acceptable for something that will be used by kids. They fold up nicely and come with a simple but practical storage and carry bag. At the same time, the folding aspect makes me a little nervous because some kids can be rough and I feel it's a feature that makes them more fragile. If your kids are careful with their toys & tablet then it should be fine. You can also use them in a more classic wired mode since they come with a 3.5mm cable that can plug into the headphones and into their tablets/phones that have a 3.5mm jack. The length of the 3.5mm cable is good. Lastly it's a nice vibrant colour and my kids like it.
Overall for 28$ I'm satisfied with these wireless headphones.

Why I'll Never Overpay for Headphones Again

I recently got the Seenda Kids Wireless Active Noise Cancelling Headphones for my child, and I have been thoroughly impressed. They excel in performance, safety, and comfort, making them a fantastic choice for school, travel, and everyday use.

**Here’s what makes them stand out:**

    **1. Outstanding Build Quality:**
Right out of the box, the quality is excellent. They feel sturdy and well-made, not like a cheap toy that will break easily. The foldable design is a huge plus for storing them in a backpack without worry.

**2. Exceptional Active Noise Cancellation (ANC):**
This is the headline feature, and it delivers. The ANC works exceptionally well. When turned on, it's remarkable how much outside noise is blocked. I can hardly hear any ambient noise, which is perfect for focusing on homework or enjoying a movie undisturbed on a noisy airplane or in a busy house.

**3. Clear and Accurate Sound Quality:**
The sound quality is very good. I tested them on a variety of genres—from music to speaking programs and podcasts online—and they performed flawlessly. The headphones react accurately to represent the source material, providing clear vocals for dialogue and a well-balanced tone for music. It's impressive quality for a pair of kids' headphones.

**4. Surprisingly Comfortable for All Ages:**
The size of the ear foam cups is quite large. While marketed for kids, they are also a comfortable fit for adults, making them versatile for the whole family.

**5. Effortless Pairing & Stellar Battery Life:**
Pairing via Bluetooth is fast and easy, just as seamless as most modern headphones on the market. The battery life is also fantastic. After a full charge a couple of days ago, they are still going strong, easily living up to the promised 60-hour playtime.

    **The Bottom Line:**
The Seenda Kids Headphones are a brilliant package. You get robust build quality, top-tier active noise cancellation, and **clear, accurate sound** across different types of media. Combined with a comfortable fit and a long-lasting battery, they offer incredible value. I've owned high-end headphones from major brands, and I used to pay $400 or more for the kind of quality these Seenda Kids headphones provide. That they offer this performance at a fraction of that cost is nothing short of incredible. The included safe volume limits (74/85/94dB) provide essential peace of mind for parents. Highly recommended for any child—and even adults might be tempted to borrow them!

Great headphones with ANC and volume limiting for your child

Reviewed in Canada on August 27, 2025

Color: GreenAmazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

I got the Seenda Wireless ANC Headphones for my 6-year-old, as he loves my similar, more expensive headphones. These headphones did not disappoint. He really likes the bright lime green color and finds them comfortable to wear. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they even fit my head! The headphones appear sturdy and well-built, with hinges that do not seem flimsy or weak at all. The buttons are easy to locate without having to remove the headphones, and the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) button is positioned differently from the others to prevent accidental activation.

These headphones are clearly designed with kids in mind. Even the voice that announces your selections is a child's voice, which adds a nice touch. The ANC feature works quite well; while it may not match the performance of my more expensive set, it is noticeably effective when activated in the presence of ambient noise, such as an air conditioner or a running fridge compressor. One of the main reasons I chose these headphones is the ability to switch the volume limit. With ANC and a safe volume cap of 74 dB, I can ensure my son's hearing is protected while also preventing him from getting annoyed by surrounding noise that makes it hard to hear.

However, there is one drawback: once you've connected the headphones via the 3.5mm cord, you cannot use the ANC or the volume limiter. While it’s fairly standard not to have ANC when plugged in, it would be nice to have the volume limiter enabled while connected. At school, when using the school-provided devices, the kids must have their headphones wired, so we can't utilize the volume limiter in that scenario.

The audio quality of these headphones isn't going to win any audiophile awards, but at this price point, you're unlikely to find a set that offers ANC, volume limiting, and decent audio quality all in one package. The audio quality is comparable to other headphones in this price range, but the added features of ANC and volume limiting make these a better choice than similarly priced options without those features.

Overall, I highly recommend these headphones, and I plan to pick up a second set for my other child when he gets a little older.
