Excellent low light camera
The standout feature of this camera is how well it works in low light. I turned off the lights in my office and it worked pretty well from just the glow of my monitor and some light from a window a long distance away. It's hard to show a photo of how well it works because the video looks normal. Keep in mind this is a bare camera module with no case. You can 3D print a case or buy a case. The lens that came with it is a standard M12 lens. It's about as wide as you can go without it being a fisheye lens. If you want to change the focus, there is a screw you have to loosen to unlock the lens.

    I got this camera because I wanted to finish up an IoT project. This is the camera that is mounted to my weather station on top of the nearby school.

    The picture quality is pretty awesome considering its size. The quality of the parts are as what you would expect from ELP.

    The camera functions very well and sits inside a waterproof acrylic box in all types of weather and have had no issue whatsoever.

    The camera is taking video, photos, and time lapse videos as well. This camera is plug and play with almost any operating system. I am using it on the Raspberry Pi OS.

    One great thing about this camera that many people don't know is that you can change the lens as needed for your specific purpose.

    The lenses are not included but you can get them from their website or on Amazon.

    It's been up and running now for a few weeks and has not failed at all. The camera is definitely made with quality parts as well.

    I would have no problem recommending this to my friends, family, coworkers, or anyone who needs a quality camera for their computer.

    Overall, my experience with this camera has been outstanding and I'm sure it will be for you too. ELP makes some of the best project cameras on the market and they definitely showed up in this camera.

    I was really excited to find this camera to pair with my halo/ring lamp and connect it directly to my laptop via USB. The setup could not have been easier—literally plug-and-play with no hassle, which is always a win.

    The clarity and crispness of the image are outstanding. The resolution is sharp, colors look natural, and it does a great job balancing brightness, even in tricky lighting. The wide-angle lens is a big plus—it captures more of the scene than a standard webcam, which is exactly what I needed.

    One of the standout features is its performance in low light. Sometimes I need to take a photo with dim light conditions, and with this camera after testing it out gave me a picture that remained clear without graininess.     Yet another absolute banger from ELP

    I've gotten several cameras from ELP in the past, and have been very pleased with all of them. This one is a little different from the others, in that this one focuses on low-light performance. The resolution of this camera isn't incredible, as it's only 2 megapixels, but you get your money's worth out of those 2 megapixels, they are very nice and crisp. Video is another thing where it's just better quality, despite not being a super high resolution.

    In low light environments, you don't get much noise in your pictures, it's able to just do things right. I really like it, and am wondering what I'll wind up using it for long term. Some things that come to mind are monitoring my 3D printer, trying to watch wildlife in the yard, and maybe just as a DIY webcam that actually works nicely in darker rooms. Plenty of options with this camera, and they're all pretty neat.

    Very nice fisheye low light camera module. Image clarity from quality lens is excellent for a 2 MP camera sensor! Low light scenarios also have nice clear images even with only 2 MP resolution. I will be using this with a Raspberry Pi 5 computer to monitor projects my workshop.
