    I love this adapter. It allows me to hook up hdmi, usb, and usb-c to my laptop on the go. It is very compact and sturdy built. I paired it with a usb-c magnetic connector so that I can unplug and plug it in on the go while doing the same with my docking station at home. I use it for presentations to different displays that range from new to old and it adapts to all of them with no issues. Very easy to setup and use. I think one of the selling points is that the price is much better for the quality of the device.

    The unit works great with my iPad mini for streaming TV endlessly from an IPTV app. But with the HDMI and charging both plugged in plus the unit itself I easily comes unplugged from the iPad. The iPad is frequently handled when looking for what to watch. I have used electrical tape to help keep it plugged in but that is not a perfect solution. I am going to try putting the iPad on a small desk for my laptop and move it instead of the iPad. It seems this type of adapter could be smaller and less bulky. I use this unit daily 24/7 or almost to get all of my 10000 streaming channels and the unit gets handled many times a day. It does seem better constructed than the previous Apple unit with the old lightening connector. Those would last 5 months or so and the connecting wire would start to twist and weaken and eventually fail. I have a dozen of them with the same issue. Apple Store would not give me any justice. And at $30-50 per unit I was not happy but there was no other unit to put iPad or phone on my 52” Sony tv. This unit is priced right and the new one from Apple is $70! But the actual function of this unit is perfect. Picture and sound bar are perfect .

    S24 doesn't work

    I have an Samsung S24 Ultra which shows it's compatible in the list, but the device continually disconnects, if I unplug things and reconnect it works for maybe a minute, or if I select "control usb from this device" it'll reset the connection as it defaults back to the dongle.
    It won't let the USB be controlled from my phone, and it won't stay connected. The troubleshooting didn't resolve the issue, so it's either defective or isn't really compatible with the S24.
