Custom colors in the app can capture vintage incandescent colors
This works if you want vintage LED color without shelling out for it, but there's a trick to it. If you look at my screenshot of my custom color scheme from the app, there's a bunch of red, but that's actually three colors, not one. Warm pink is just to the left of red on the color selector spectrum, and amber yellow is just to the right of it. I can't get a photo to capture the colors on the tree at all– maybe I'll have better luck in the dark–but the result is vintage-incandescent-look, with blue, green, red, warm pink, and amber yellow.

    First time for us to get that kind of lights. Really cool and addicted. My son and wife loved the effects. The xmas is ugly during the day but magic at night time.

    I removed one star, i wish the strand to be thinner to melt within the xmas tree.

    We’ve attempted to rounds of these lights. Each time they would last for one season and then stop working. Overall a good idea and easy to use/install but the quality is not there. Very disappointed.

    We have multiple Christmas trees n our house and outside. Stringing them each year is a massive chore. Decided to give this a go on a 7 foot tree. Setup literally took 5 minutes. The light are vibrant and the functionality in terms of number of options and patterns is impressive – I would imagine everyone could find something to their liking. This claims to be rated for outdoor use, which is good because eventually we decided it would be great in our front courtyard. I hope it holds up multiple seasons. I will say that all smart lights seem to pile on a bunch of additional bells and whistles that tend to underwhelm, and this is no different. I’m still experimenting given how many different settings it has, but the “music rhythm” mode definitely works if that is appealing to you. The text and gif modes so far work but not really useful in our application. But will keep playing. At the end of the day, it absolutely does what it was acquired for very well – easy setup and attractive lights!

    We bought two of these lights last Christmas, and they were fantastic! After the holidays, we carefully stored them in their original box. However, when I pulled them out for Halloween, one of the power supply blocks was completely dead (I tested both sets of lights with the working block to confirm). Unfortunately, I couldn't find any customer support or contact information on the user manual or box. The manuals says "if you encounter any problems, please contact us…we will find the best solution." But no contact info!!! I understand there's always some risk with seasonal products, but for $120, you'd expect at least a 1-year warranty and for them to last more than just one season.

    We gave these lights a 4/5 star rating since one of the light strands went out during its first week of use. The "gallery" option was fairly useless. IMHO, they should just remove that option. Every one of the emojis, symbols or letters were unrecognizable. Perhaps it would work better with a smaller tree (ours is 9ft) or if the strands were are all brought to the front? Either way, the only ones annoyed by it were the grandkids. LOL.
    All of the lights, patterns, music sync and other app controls worked perfectly. My favorite feature was the ability to fully control the lights from my phone- no more getting out of a warm bed bc I forgot to turn off the tree. The grandkids were entertained for hours with customizing the music, colors and patterns. Both the remote and app are easy to use and have the capability to produce thousands of combinations. The star at the top is removable and does not affect the functionality of the lights.
