Decent set of entry level specialty automotive electrical tools. Similar to some of the cheaper tools you’d find at a Harbor Freight store. You can tell this set has been hobbled together from random hand tools as there’s three different shades of red color and textures to the rubber handles. Not a big deal but doesn’t scream quality either. The most useful tool in the set for me are the pin release keys used to remove wire pins from the connectors, they make removal a breeze. Overall the tools are pretty solid, not something that would last in a shop but good for occasional use. A fair price for what you get.

My son, a professional auto mechanic, wouldn’t use economy tools like these, but they’re fine for a shade tree mechanic like me. The tools are great for automotive specialty repairs on electrical items, hose clamps, and interior and exterior trim removal. They have non-slip handles and they seem to be constructed of good steel.
The set contains seven full size tools and a key chain loaded with eighteen Terminal Release mini tools. The larger hand tools include:
1. A Straight Disconnect Pliers for manipulating parts with tabs
2. An Angled Disconnect Pliers for reaching parts in tight areas
3. A Relay Puller Pliers that allows straight out removal of relays without damage
4. A Hose Clamp Pliers for compressing spring type hose clamps
5. A Hose Removal Pliers that facilitates twisting and pulling stuck hoses
6. A Car Trim Removal Tool for door panels, dashboard, and plastic retaining pins
7. A Terminal Pin Removal Tool that allows extraction of terminals from their connector housing
I do suggest to the manufacturer that they could possibly include a case to secure the tools in and a quick reference chart to guide you in getting the best use of the tools.

Okay, full transparency: I’ve bought 2 other electrical disconnect sets before, and this one is BY FAR the best! My old ones felt wobbly and broke after 2 uses, but these pliers grip tight, feel premium, and cover every terminal type I’ve ever needed. Stop wasting money on garbage tools —this one’s worth every penny. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
