    Needed a new battery for a latitude 3520 that had a "battery not communicating" error. This battery showed up in less than 24 hours, the installation process took 5 minutes, turned it on before putting it all back together, and dell power manager shows "battery health: excellent" and charging no problem.

    Take a chance, if the one you get is a dud, just return it and try again. Batteries of this nature expire when not in use for very long.
