Okay Camera for the Price (with some flaws)
As some people here have said already. It's not true 4k (See Attached Picture of my OBS Readout for the ACTUAL Max Resolution). For the folks who are having trouble with Jerky video. Make sure that "Low Light Compensation" is turned off in the Camera Settings (In OBS, It's Properties > Configure Video > Camera Controls > Low Light Compensation). Turning off that option made my video smooth again.I mainly got the Camera as I needed one to play Remote games of Disney Lorcana, Pokemon TCG and Magic the Gathering and this somewhat does the job. If you're looking for an okay Camera with Medicore Image Quality that's passable for Webcam games. Then this'll do that, Otherwise just stick with something else.(The Picture of my Arceus mat is to show the Image Quality of the Maximum Resolution)

    what i like is that the camera is free standing and comes with a tripod. we have a very large monitor and it is annoying to have to look up to use attached cameras. you and place it on a book, or i have used two sided tape to attach to screen. the quality is excellent. my wife likes the ability to use the small shutter to close off the picture to prevent hacking.     It works. Image drags a little even on usb C connectIon. Didn’t expect that. But I am retired so I don’t need a great refresh rate for using teams anymore, good buy for the money, auto-focus works. I tried it on OBS recording software and it works well for making training videos with Picture in Picture. For the money I would recommend it as long as you have a USB C CONNECTION available on your computer. Image quality mediocre due to light flares/hotspots.

    Bought this in December 2023 as my laptop camera was low quality and blurry. This was simple to plug it and go and I loved it – great quality video and audio but now, almost a year later (November 2024) it completely stopped working. I’ve tried every update, reboot, etc and have plugged this camera into multiple different computers and nothing. A waste of money for this to not even make it a full year.

    Camera is adequately priced at $60 and is better than the $20-40 cameras. My image is the top right compared to Apple's 2021 camera at the bottom. The white balance is high. I'm sitting in a dark room with dual monitors and blinds closed and I'm washed out. Software may correct this. I do think it would be great for darker complexions. Regardless, it's significantly better than the $30 Logitech camera on the market. The ring light is cute but doesn't really do much. It sort of gives a highlight to the face but is generally dimmer than standard LED monitors so it doesn't matter. I usually keep it off. Plastic is sturdy. It takes a 3.1 MP image. So, yes, HD/4k image size but, no, you're not going to be zooming in or using it for product demos. Would be perfect for streaming where you're using it in the corner of a screen as a thumbnail. Looks fine in a "party panel" . Looks are iffy when you put it as the full size image on your monitor.

    I bought this camera because it said it could record in 4K; since the price was decent, I went for it. The only problems I've had is:
    1. My laptop is not able to handle recording on any program without it being choppy and laggy, so, I use it on my husband's computer which is designed for things like this

    and

    2. The camera works well for clear viewing, however, since I bought it because I started my own YouTube channel for tarot readings the clarity is fine, but if you have that camera only focused on (like) your hands (like I do) the autofocus has a tendency to continue to autofocus which if I'm not careful with all my hand movements can be a tad distracting with it continuing to autofocus.

    Other than that, the camera works fine, and it does have a nice clear picture view outside the autofocusing.

    you must disable the auto light balance or it will be terrible

    Long story short, it's not 4K. I tried not only all the built-in utilities, but also OBS Studio and some other software, and nothing got the actual 4K resolution, so it's fraudulent in that respect. However, it's probably better than most of these cameras. The main reason I'm posting is because I wanted to share with people that there is a default setting that has to do with light balance mode, that if you can get in and find and disable that setting, and you have to use a special third-party, there's an open-source tool, you can find it on GitHub, or if you can use OBS Studio, and you have to do this every time your computer reboots, but if you can just disable that setting, it will transform your webcam, it will be actually usable in a smooth picture, but if you just have the default, you go and buy this and plug it in and try to use it, it's going to be a miserable experience. It was like stop-motion, like a claymation animation, like one frame per second with tracers. It was absolutely unusable. I only hung on and fought with it and researched for a full day because I had already tried three other webcams, and they all were even worse than this one, and I figured I was fighting, I thought maybe it was my computer or something else, no, it was not, and after a whole lot of research, you know, into the directshow api from Microsoft and USB device settings, and really digging in and figuring it all out, I found out it was that setting, and if that setting is turned off, the webcam becomes usable, and it's smooth and nice. It was weird seeing people post reviews of this specific cam, and for example some lady's video here on Amazon, if you watch closely, she's running her video in fast forward, so when you look at the screen and you're seeing it kind of smooth, that's not in real time! She's actually run her review in a faster speed, and it tricked me. I thought, oh, wow, that looks really smooth, why isn't mine like hers, and then I saw that it was sped up. I'm like, oh, man, she was dishonest, and you know, when you dig around, I actually did find some other reviews online where they had actually had it honest, and it really was smooth, but they had found that setting, and then of course there are other ones that are choppy, but anyway, I just wanted to share that about the setting. It's some light balance mode. Have to disable that to make this usable.
