I WROTE THE BELOW POSITIVE REVIEW, BUT I HAVE TO SCRAP IT. THE CAMERA DOESN'T KEEP FOCUS AND THERE I COULD NOT FIND PRODUCT SUPPORT TO FIX IT.This webcam’s high-resolution clarity and detail are immediately noticeable.     Bought this for a Mac mini to use with zoom, as I am using an external monitor without a camera.

    I had bought a camera prior to buying this camera, and it was not much less than cost of this one, but it was terribl. It only had 1080p camera and you couldn't see anything If light was not perfect and it also didn't have zoom feature.

    This camera has a 4k camera, and up close appears pin sharp, but I would say you still need good light to utilise it, although it didn't need to be perfect lighting like the cheaper one I purchased and returned.

    The zoom feature is a welcome one, but be aware the 9x zoom isn't sufficient for you to sit at a huge distance away and zoom in.

    I tried to use with an android TV and setting up zoom there and sitting on couch during it, but the zoom couldn't get close to focusing on faces from about 10 feet away.

    You probably want to be within about 3-4 feet distance.

    Remote control was another welcome feature, and generally works well, but sometimes it can glitch and doesn't respond straight away.

    For the price and feature set, you can't really go wrong. It even comes with a little tripod, although this isn't something I would find useful, as it would have needed to be too far away from my TV to use this way, and so it now lives above an external monitor next to my Mac mini.

    It's considerably cheaper than more recognised brands and you get more features.

    It can't compete with super expensive products that cost 5-10 times the price obviously, so keep that in mind, and base your expectations on the price you are paying.

    You are getting a very good camera for a very reasonable price, and if you just want to use for everyday use such as calls to family and work related video conferencing, it's great.
