Easy to use plug and play webcam
This webcam was very easy to setup. All I had to do was plug it into my computers USB A port and open it up in the settings device menu. Once I activated the camera a settings menu came up where I could adjust the picture, sound and various other settings.The video looks very clear and nice, and I love that there is a cover to block the camera with. The camera was also easy to rest on top of the monitor of my desktop and laptop computers. The camera can be adjusted up, down and side to side. There are two nice speakers so that you are heard clearly. This is a very nice webcam.

    Now I understand why so many of my relatives blocked the camera on laptops and PC's. This camera is so clear it is like looking out of a window! Not only that, but the objects on the other side of the office is focused as well as those up close. So, the lens cover that is attached will stay down and prevent some hacker from being injured by seeing me in my pj's. The microphones also work very well; they are very sensitive.

    Attaching the camera has been a challenge. It does not have an attachment as my previous camera had that would clamp to the top of the monitor. Some double-stick tape or some duct tape will do temporarily. Try this camera, I think you will like it!

    This webcam is top-notch! The 4K resolution is super sharp, and the auto-focus keeps everything clear, whether I’m up close or moving around. The dual noise-canceling microphones do a great job at cutting out background noise, so my voice comes through loud and clear on calls.

    The auto light correction is a nice touch, making sure I always look good no matter the lighting. The 77° field of view is perfect—not too wide, not too tight. Setup was effortless with the USB plug-and-play, which is always a plus.

    Now, for the downsides: Price is a little high, and the red indicator light is way too bright and distracting—honestly, it’s a bit much, especially in dim lighting. Didn’t take off a star for that, though, because the quality is worth it. If they fix those issues, this would be even better than 5 stars! Definitely a must-buy!

    The video and audio quality are surprisingly good for this product. It is easy to use straight out of the box, and while being a little bit on the bulkier side, still looks nice on my laptop. It's great for zoom calls, and other personal use as well as work from home situations. It may not be the best audio quality for a video streamer, but it's also not the worst microphone. The noise canceling is relatively good and would be good for anyone who wants to do casual streaming, but for a more serious streamer, one probably shouldn't be using a webcam microphone anyway. All of that said it's great for most situations.

    The design is very low profile, the mics are at the ideal height to avoid the echo effect of other webcams. Video quality is amazing due to the Sony image sensor, its crisp enough to use for coaching as you can do a real-time pitch seam shift, the pitching motion doesn't blur like other auto focus webcams.
    The mounting clip is similar to makers that factor in a thin screen edge so there is minimal screen blockage on a desktop monitor and laptops. Great value for the build quality.
    Overall this is a great choice over the big three makers.

    This was a free product. However, I have no incentive to be biased towards or against this product.

    The NEWORK 4K Webcam works great at 1080p. I use Linux, so this might be the reason I can't seem to get 4k with it. That being said, I don't need anything above 1080p anyway. I'm sure that there's a fix for it should I ever need it. I use Fedora and it picked the camera up without any problems and am able to use it with OBS.

    I may connect the webcam to my laptop that runs Windows 11. If I do, I'll update this review. I still highly recommend the NEWORK 4k Webcam. Easy to use, plug & play, and I love that it has a privacy cover. This webcam will handle most of your needs.

The folding base has a built-in camera stand hole and rubbery grips to help keep it in place.     Very capable webcam

    Recognized instantly on my Windows 11 desktop, and the video and audio were nice and crisp. It was also recognized immediately under Linux (Ubuntu 24.04), but the resolution was lower. I think it dropped down to 1080p under Linux. I fiddled around a bit but didn't find a quick fix. I'm using it primarily under Windows, so I didn't spend a lot of time trying to troubleshoot. If you're buying this for a Linux machine, do some research to see what drivers or configuration might be needed.
