I recently got a Bambu P1S with AMS and have been using a dresser to hold it. I thought this would be a better solution. I took a couple hours to put it together. Here are some of my thoughts:
Pros:
– The wheels on this are very smooth and two of them lock to hold it in place
– Mostly made of metal
– Very stable when loaded down
– Looks good in my room
– Solid instructions. I only misinterpreted one part and it was easily fixed
– Fairly straightforward to put together. It took me two hours, and I'm not terribly handy
Cons:
– You have to tilt a spool to get it to the top shelf inside the cabinet. The spacing is very uneven with the bottom shelf having tons of room and the top one being very cramped
– There's not enough useable room to put the printer and AMS on the table part. You need to put the AMS on the top filament shelf.
– There was some light damage when I received it – scratches on the transparent plastic, and a small dent in the wood. You don't really notice it unless the light hits it right.
– What looks like glass in the pictures is actually plastic
– There's no insulation at all to keep filament dry.
– Unstable when not heavily loaded
Overall, I'm glad I got it. It's much better than what I had. But I'm annoyed by the pictures that are deceptive about the spacing. I also wish it had some backing on the top so I could mount some multiboard, but I knew that going in.
