UPDATE: They have since corrected the wrong thread and sent me a replacement and for that I'm updating my review.I bought this to use on a desk tripod and that was a bad idea becasue in all of the 7 tripod that I have this thing didn't fit in any of the screws my guess is, it came with a fine tread while the standard screw (atleast here in America) is coarse.

    When I plugged this camera in the first time, it seemed like the yellow levels were really high and everything just looked off. I installed the software to upgrade the firmware and it was still yellow. Then I started to adjust the settings which helped a lot, but it still seems slightly off. Maybe I could get it better if I kept messing with the settings. I do like that I could adjust the field of view to make it narrower. The default was a bit wide for me. When you install the software, it does have a fair amount of customization you can do to help account for different lighting conditions. I was hoping to use this on my work computer however I can’t install the control software on there so I had to do all of the set up on my personal computer and then I could plug the camera into my work computer and it does retain the settings, which is nice, but it was a little bit of an annoying process.

    This is a webcam of average quality. The image quality is only acceptable, even though it outputs 2k. If I had to choose, I would get a Logitech CX920 or a Brio 101. They are both in the same price range with better image quality.

    Die Kamera macht in ihrer optischen Erscheinung einen sympathischen Eindruck. Sie ist relativ klein, so dass sie nicht übermäßig auffällt.

    Die Halterung ist soweit durchdacht. Man kann das Teil am Bildschirm anklemmen oder mit dem Kameragewinde an ein Stativ anschrauben. Die Klemmung ist nicht sonderlich fest. Das hat seine Vorteile bei einem randlosen Bildschirm. Allerdings besteht auch die Gefahr, dass das Teil sich verselbständigt.

    Mit den Bewegungsmöglichkeiten der Halterung lassen sich alle Richtungen abdecken, also kugelförmig. Der Tipp auf der Produktseite mit dem nach unten kippen für Privatsphäre, ist ja putzig. Aber was hilft es, wenn das Mikro trotzdem weiterläuft. Wer ungestört sein will, sollte lieber abstecken.

    Die Einrichtung einer Webcam ist heute meist keine besondere Sache. Anstecken und geht. Ist auch bei dieser Kamera so. Ich arbeite am liebsten mit meiner eigenen Software. Das geht mit dieser Kamera auch, man muss nicht die Herstellersoftware nehmen.

    Die Bildqualität ist gut. Sehr scharf und die Farben sind einigermaßen natürlich. Gefällt mir sehr gut. Wobei der Bereich in Richtung Weitwinkel geht, wenn man nichts einstellen kann.

    Die Tonqualität über die eingebauten Lautsprecher ist sehr mäßig. Soweit zwar gut verständlich, aber hohl und recht seltsam.

    Als Kamera gut zu gebrauchen. Beim Ton würde ich lieber anderweitiges Equipment nehmen.

    Geliefert wird hier eine Cam, die relativ klein und kompakt daherkommt.

    Nach dem Installieren hat der Computer die Webcam sofort erkannt.

    Das Bild, welches die Webcam hergibt, ist recht gut, allerdings fällt mir auf, dass das Bild gespiegelt dargestellt wird. Es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit dies umzukehren. Gemerkt habe ich es, da die Schrift auf meinem T-Shirt gespiegelt erschien, und dies nicht nur bei mir, sondern auch beim Gegenüber.

    Das Bild ist bei Tageslicht recht gut, wenn es etwas dämmert, allerdings wird es etwas unscharf und dunkel. Eine gute Ausleuchtung ist also nötig.

    Vom überlieferten Ton her ist die Webcam gut, diese kommt klar und deutlich herüber.

    Praktisch wiederum finde ich die mitgelieferte Software. Mit ihr kann man Verschiedenaufnahmewinkel (60°, 75°, 95°) einstellen. Somit kann man auch die Umgebung eingrenzen. Möglichkeiten der Sättigung, Helligkeit und Kontrast und Farbton anzupassen gibt es jedenfalls.

    Auch die Noise-Cancelling Funktion ist ebenfalls sehr gut und äußerst praktisch anwendbar.

    Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist ein Halterung für den Monitor, welche ebenfalls als einen recht wertigen und guten Eindruck macht. Außerdem verfügt die Cam über ein ¼“-Gewinde, mit welchem man es auf Stativ befestigen kann.

    Prinzipiell bin ich mit der Kamera zufrieden, sie hat ein gutes Bild sowie einen sehr guten Ton und ist individuell einstellbar. Gestört hat mich das Nachlassen der Bildqualität bei geringem Lichteinfall sowie die Tatsache, dass das Bild spiegelbildlich dargestellt wird. Ich vergebe somit vier verdiente Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung.

    Ich habe diese WebCam kostenlos zum Testen zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Zum Zeitpunkt des Tests im Juli 2024 betrug der reguläre Preis 49,99 Euro. Die Kamera ist an sich gut verarbeitet und wirkt einigermaßen robust.

    # Einstellungen:
    Die Kamera ist im Auslieferungs-Zustand auf gespiegeltes Bild eingestellt, das ist erstmal verwirrend gewesen. Im Standard Windows-Dialog zu den Kamera-Einstellungen ist dies auch nicht änderbar. Dazu muss man erst von der Webseite des Herstellers (NearStream.us) die Software NearSync downloaden. Es wäre sinnvoller, diese Einstellungen im Standard-Dialog von Windows einstellen zu können, wie es bei manchen anderen Kameras möglich ist. Die Kamera scheint sich auch nicht zu merken, ob man Auto-Focus deaktiviert hat. Auto-Focus wird immer wieder aktiviert bei neuverbinden der Kamera. Außerdem reagiert die Kamera nicht auf manuelle Focus-Einstellungen über den Standard-Dialog. In der NearSync-Software gibt es auch keine Möglichkeit den Focus manuell einzustellen. In dunklen Situationen regelt Auto-Focus auch viel zu oft ohne Grund nach, was ein wenig nervt.

    # Bildqualität:
    Die Bildqualität ist bei guten Lichtverhältnissen Ok, aber nicht perfekt. Das lieht wohl an der Rauschunterdrückung (oder an zu starker Kompression). Das Bild wird Blockweise aufgebaut. Wenn man sich bewegt, sind diese Blöcke erst einmal verrauscht, und werden nach 1-2 Sekunden klarer. Ich schätze, die Kamera bildet aus mehreren Bildern nacheinander eine Art Durchschnitt pro Block, wo durch das Rauschen reduziert (weggerechnet) wird. Bei Tageslicht sieht man den Effekt zwar eher weniger, aber wenn das Licht abnimmt oder man bei Zimmerbeleuchtung vor der Kamera sitzt, schmiert jede Bewegung extrem nach.

    # Fazit:
    Ich habe schon billigere Kameras gesehen, die sich einfacher konfigurieren lassen und ein deutlich besseres Bild abliefern. Das Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis ist eher Mittelmaß.

    # Nachtrag:
    Ich hatte jetzt die Idee, die Kamera an meinen 3D-Drucker mit Linux Klipper-Firmware anzuschließen, um den Druckfortschritt per Smartphone sehen zu können. Ich habe die Kamera auch erfolgreich eingebunden. Aber über das WebCam-Control "v2l2-ctl" bekomme ich die Kamera nicht in den manuellen Focus und kann auch die Focus-Entfernung nicht regeln, obwohl mir vom Control-Tool die entsprechenden Einstellmöglichkeiten gelistet werden. Im Auto-Focus funktioniert die Kamera zwar, aber sie stellt sich manchmal auf den bewegenden Druckkopf scharf, statt auf das gedruckte Objekt. Jetzt muss ich vermutlich die Kamera erstmal mit dem Windows-PC und der NearSync-Software den Focus fest einstellen und hoffen, die Kamera merkt sich das …

    Mit dem einstellbaren Befestigungsclip kann man die Webcam leicht und flexibel an Ihrem PC, Laptop, Monitor oder jeder ebenen Oberfläche befestigen.
    Darüber hinaus befindet sich am Fuß ein 1/4"-Innengewinde, mit dem man sie auf einem Tischständer, Auslegerarm oder Bodenstativ für verschiedene Einrichtungsoptionen montieren kann.

    Die 1080P 60FPS Webcam hat mich rundum überzeugt und verdient volle fünf Sterne. Schon beim Auspacken macht sie einen wertigen Eindruck. Besonders positiv fällt das Stativgewinde auf, und der Fuß der Kamera ist leichtgängig, lässt sich aber dennoch sehr gut an verschiedene Bedürfnisse und Monitore anpassen.

    Das Design der Webcam ist schick, obwohl sie in der frontalen Ansicht etwas klobig wirkt, jedoch nicht unnötig groß. Sie verfügt über einen typischen USB-A Anschluss, was praktisch ist, auch wenn ein USB-C Anschluss oder zumindest ein Adapter schön gewesen wären.

    Die Installation ist kinderleicht, da die Webcam sofort von Windows 11 erkannt wird. Der Autofokus braucht einen Moment, um sich zu sortieren, funktioniert dann aber hervorragend. Das verbaute Weitwinkelobjektiv bietet einen großen Sichtbereich und die Farben sehen lebendig aus.

    Alles in allem erfüllt die Webcam alle meine Erwartungen und ist ideal für Videoanrufe, Online-Kurse und Live-Streaming. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist Spitze. Ich kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
