Easy setup app and a big warm heater
Growing season in the northern Midwest is short and unpredictable. It’s difficult to plan how early to start your seedlings when getting them in the ground too early will ruin nearly 2 months of work due to a late frost. Wait too long and it will be September before you see ripe tomatoes. Late in the season is also a problem as we often get a surprise frost which kills your plants in one night, followed by many weeks of good weather where they could have kept producing. We selected this heater, along with a temporary greenhouse, so we can get an earlier start in the spring and extend the season later in the fall. The heater is a nice sturdy device, easy to lift and move, with a long temp probe and a switch that turns off the heater if it’s tipped over. Controls on the top of the heater make it easy to set a temp to ensure that the heater will only kick on if the temp falls too low. But even easier was setting it up with the app. The QR code directed me right to the app (which I already had on my phone from another device I had previously purchased) and the heater was immediately recognized. Setting it up on WiFi was immediate and this allow the heater to be controlled and monitored from a distance. As I’m curious, I love being able to see if the temps in the greenhouse are getting close to needing the heater and the added confidence of seeing it doing its job.

    Would be a five star but some issues. One function seems to be a problem the Swing Mode stops once in a while no response from tech yet how to fix it but i figured something out until then. Heats up my 16'x22' 11 foot high ceiling room easily. Swing Mode is the key to this heater! As long as it works. Gets hot at cord plug into outlet but i unplug it after a couple of days for an hour or two. Easy setup but the Smart phone App is not caple of using all the heaters functions such as Swing Mode.

    Won’t work after three months of mild winter weather

    Update: we finally figured out how to contact Amazon customer service and when we explained that the heater quit working, she emailed us the return code and issued a refund once it was returned. Still don’t think the heater is a good choice, but am happy with Amazon’s response.

    We bought this in November 2024 to heat our greenhouse to a minimum of 45°. It seem to work fine until in February 2025 just three months after we started using our new heater , we got a cold snap going down to about 25° and maybe in the high teens at night. It did not last even a day at the lower temperatures. Currently, we can turn it on. It starts to heat and it stops no matter what we put the thermostat on it shuts completely down. And apparently the fan does not work at all at this point in time. I checked with the Amazon support and we looked at all of the options. None of them addressed star option, nor were we able to contact the company. I do not suggest buying this heater because it will not work if it gets even remotely cold. I would give it no stars, but that is not an option. At this point in time it is worthless to us, and we have to replace it.

    I was nervous about putting an electric heater in my small greenhouse… the fact that I can monitor and adjust from an app on my cell phone put me at ease . I have an 8 x 10 basic greenhouse from the one of the “bulk warehouse” stores . My temp went down to 12 degrees outside and this heater kept inside temp at 54. (My set temp)
    It is compact and , in my experience so far, a great value for the money ! I love the features and the actual unit is solid and coated for a greenhouse environment !

We had a short power outage for a few minutes but the heater didn't turn back on. It has to be turned on manually. If I had not checked, everything in my greenhouse would have frozen.
